As title says ive seen tank akali, and honestly it is legit better then normal Akali, my only issue is, this should not be the answer for Akali nor the path I want riot to take to have her be meta again. I want AKALI not this weird tank akali.

Erockandroll2 votesIt's not like this was ever Riot intention. If I recall correctly, her last buff was to her E CD and her ult speed. I certainly wouldn't have thought any of that would lead to a tank build. (So I'm guessing she's abusing the weird meta items right now.)
That in mind, as weird as it is, I'm not entirely opposed to the build. especially if people find it to be way less problematic than her glass cannon build.

You see, there's no drawback to building tanky, since you'll end up dealing a lot of damage anyway. So why waste your time on assassination items when you might as well build all tanky and still solo their carry.

Hexten1 votesDepends on how long it will take Riot to react to this build. They tend to let things play out for a month or so before doing anything. Obviously in the direction of how Akali should be played, its wrong, but considering they are not willing to put any work into fixing Akali since 5.2, they rather leave that to the rework that's coming up.
But I doubt they will let Tank Akali be a legit thing until her rework comes.
