So I just left a game at 6 minutes for the first time in ages

Jungler asks for a hard leash, I as the adc give him six auto attacks and an ability, I go to lane to farm.

Jungler proceeds to cuss me out for not "hard leashing him" goes to my lane, smites a minion and ints to draven. I reply "wtf?" Sona begins to start flaming me for not hard leashing him in some foreign language, amumu starts cussing at me in some foreign language. Pretty sure it's Vietnamese (i have a Vietnamese best friend IRL)

I shake it off, amumu comes bot lane again, level 2, dies on purpose once again to draven, sona follows up, they proceed to swear at me in what im positive at this point is vietmese. Amumu comes a third time, steals as much farm as possible.

I say fuck this shit and afk.

If I get reported, so be it, not staying in a game with that level of abuse.

So this topic really did blow up far past expectations, if I was to be completely honest I was just expecting to get down voted 2-3 times, get told i'm toxic by maybe two or four comments, and after that the post would just die off. That being said, just wanted to get some things clear.

1-This post was not made for the Likes, I legit made this post just to vent, expecting to be down voted

2-YES THE JUNGLER GOT LEASHED, and it was a pretty good one, Sona was even there to heal him.

3- Yes he actually inted, not much mistaking a guy running down your lane, auto attacking your minions than running straight towards the Draven and dieing, only to come back again thirty seconds later to die again, to then come back a third time and steal farm. So yeah, he was trolling, not much "oh maybe he just made a mistake" blatant obvious trolling.

4-No I will not upload a youtube video, anyone is welcomed to come ask for me to share screen it on a discord channel where it takes me legitimately zero effort to do so vs downloading, very soft editing to crop out the unneeded parts of the game to than upload on youtube. Well, Sona and Amumu are INT'ning against the most snowballing ADC in the game. Even if he stayed under those conditions it'd still be a 2 vs 5 (Without jungle presence) for mid and top.

Honestly, I don't blame him. Why stick around and get bullied for 20 minutes straight because Riot's report system allows players to troll up to 50 games unaffected without a flag? (Tested on reddit).

Doesn't matter. Riot's explicitly stated hundreds of times that, with the rare exception (AFAIK, the only exceptions are when someone deliberately attempts to deceive you into doing something reportable, or when it can be proven the fault was on Riot's end (Such as their servers went out, causing you to disconnect)), they don't give two shits about context.

Going AFK is not an acceptable response to inting and flaming. Is it understandable? Somewhat. But it's still unacceptable.

What? You're playing a game. To have fun. These people are ruining the game and the fun. And you don't have the right to get out of the game? This guy did what everyone should do with this level of abuse. If you don't want this happening, bullies like these should be thrown off the game completely. And the only way to do it is by giving people who quit, the option to report a teammate for ruining the game for him/her and everyone else on their team. Integrate it into the existing system as a normal report. Don't just put a button saying; reconnect. Below that, put a button; I can't/I won't. 2 options once you click that: first one saying; your fuckin game crapped out on me again. Second one; My teammates were absolute assholes. Checkbox next to their names. Enough reports come in? Investigate and suspend/ban accordingly for being a dick.

Instructions to having fun while in a losing game:

  1. Mute the trolls
  2. Don't care about winning

You now have all the capability to have fun in a game. Joke with the opponents, joke with teammates, go AP Lucian, don't give a fuck. I've had plenty of games when I've had to deal with overly ahead opponents, with assholes teammates. The only thing stopping you from having fun is your own attitude.

If you're in a game that is being devastated by trolls or feeders, yes. Don't care about winning, it'll only make defeat feel worse, when the situation was completely out of your hands. Context man, context, follow the thread we're in.

If this story is true then I personally think the fault is on Riot's end. Something should have been done about that kind of behavior long ago and nobody should have to be held hostage in a game like that.

Not to be a dick but how often are you leaving? One leave shouldn't be possible to create a punishment unless you leave on the regular. Your title specifies "At 6 minutes" which makes it sound like you leave a lot but you at least wait longer. If that's the case its more likely the fact you're a frequent leaver getting you punished rather than that specific game.

Unlike other people I don't really care to stay in a normal game where it's just reaching absolute levels of toxic, since i'm in silver/bronze elo atm the games have been a lot more toxic, so I will have to eventually grow a thicker skin and just learn to tough it out. But for this game specifically, when i'm being flamed by two foreigners who are literally inting my lane, yeah fuck that shit.

Obviously unjustified and you are clearly exaggerating with "50-1". If the enemy is so fed that you can't turtle, then you might as well stay because the game will quickly be over anyways. If you can still turtle, then you can still make a comeback. You aren't allowed to dictate for your team that the game is over even though the surrender vote failed.

This is your only example that seems close to being justified, but it's a slippery slope that Riot can't make an exception for because we all know all too well that players constantly accuse others of inting when they're actually just having a rough game. If Riot stated that an inting teammate justified afking, then we know all too well that a lot more people would afk after 1 or 2 failed ganks from their team's jungler.

Your post sounds like a confession of afking multiple times in unjustified situations. Your punishment is probably well deserved, not that I really care to judge you but you did come to the boards and make your dirty laundry public... I think your best option is to accept your punishment for what it is.

Bro. The guy was inting... Feeding one of the top ADC's which would in turn make it impossible for the op to hold his own lane. I had a freaking Cho'gath int in our game... 0-8 within the first 13 minutes up top to a Darius. That Darius absolutely wrecked us, he left lane and destroyed all of us while our Cho'gath complained and rage quit after those 8 feeds. Crap like that shouldn't go unpunished. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've gotten to my promotionals only to get a Jinx or something going 0-12. Those people do nothing but feed the enemy team and accelerate the speed at which they can come in and dick you. The enemy gets their items faster and then proceed to poop on you because you don't have said items.

Ohhh come on.That is BS.I have reported many guys like him and never got punished for that one game.Either they continued playing or got banned after the destroyed more games.

I have checked many players' profile and out of hundreds of players i have ever checked there was a literally small portion that got actually punished for a couple of games by running down mid and buying Tears only.

there needs to be some sort of punishment via video clip submission or something, I had a top lanner purposely int with 43 farm all game because he didnt get blue buff to start when the jungler didnt want to give it to him. He was Duo with the mid and the mid asked to trade for jungle but the person didnt want to which is his right since thats how it layed out in champ select. But to hold an entire game hostage because of things like that needs more severe punishment. It all started in the champ select dialog then just rolled over to the game

They think they're untouchable because they're grouped together and no one will report them. They feed, they play like morons, then they blame you. This has been happening for years now.

I have had a few game like that last few days. I think what Riot dont get people are getting bored with it. as of it am playing less and less game becase it boring and to much effit with people who are act like that it game

honestly and may get downvoted for this i am sure, as soon as the game start lately ive been just using "/mute all" mainly so i can focus on my own play. My own Teammates seem to tilt me more than anything else and i find if you do not repond back(bcz u didnt hear it) they stop crying.

Riot honestly has a very none existant ban policy, for if they banned everyone who deserved to be banned, it would cut their skin sales easily by 25 percent.

Yeah, some games you just need to leave. It's unfortunate that you may get punished for it. Riot sucks at doing anything useful. This too is unfortunate.

The system isn't perfect. That's why the support ticket system exists. You take screenshots of it, send a replay and chat logs to Riot support, and they can issue punishment to them.

Unfortunately, AI can't be perfect at determining thia kind of behavior because of the limited technology of a small indie game company.

You just gotta turn to the real people.

It's called we speak to each other in english, and the only occasional time I hear her speak vietmese is when her mom calls her? And half the time she goes to the other room to talk to her mom?

Plus imo Vietmese sounds pretty similar to Tagalog (the Filipinos language) So it's hard to tell them apart if you aren't a native speaker?

You are missing 2 letters consistently, all 4 times you've written it, you've gotten it wrong. It's supposed to be the name of the country, Vietnam, plus -ese to show you're talking about the language. You're just writing Vietnese, which isn't a thing.

An example, what you are saying is saying that the Japanese speak Japese.

6 autos and a abiltiy is a hard leash, any longer and the adc will miss a whole wave.

7 autos is ok. As long as you are leaving at or before 138 you can last hit everything. Though you may not have control over the lane if you arrive that late.

I started playing in the S2 preseason; back when everyone walked into the jungle pregame and watched invade routes, gave good leashes, ect.

These days players walk to their tower and jack it there. I have to beg to get top lane or mid lane to even glance at the buff I'm not starting, to see if it's being invaded. I frequently see bot lane walk to their top and afk until 1:15, leaving at least one totally unwatched invade route into my jungle.

Dying to an invade, or losing a buff, simply because my laners - who are not afk - want to pretend that their towers might get invaded level 1 is indescribably frustrating. When it comes to the poor quality of some of the leashes I get, it's even worse.

Did you know that a 'hard' leash, AKA smiteless, will cost mid or botlane a grand total of 1 minion worth of xp and 2 minions worth of gold, but can let the jungler show up for their first gank with an extra 200+ health, and possibly a potion?

It's never not worth it to give a hard leash. The advantage your jungler gets, vs what you lose, really cannot be compared.

The irony is im a jungle main and can bluntly say literally every jungler in this game doesn't need a leash and any who cries about not getting one is just being a lil bitch : P, Especially when got riot literally giving every jungler in this game level one buffs for a faster clear speed. Very few junglers these days are incapable of doing a full clear by themselves.

The truth is, even a twitch can solo red buff at level 1 with the first skill: E and get out of there with 90% HP and walk up right to mid lane. No help necessary from either bot lane or top lane. So ya, that's a good example that you do not need any leash whatsoever from most champions - Wolfs also help out a lot in case you think you might not solo any other camps.
