Daily reminder that kills are not everything.
Take this game I just played for example:
http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2441322833/209488273?tab=overview
For the entire game, we were behind on kills. Despite the KDAs, our bot lane (despite being a Teemo with no flash and a Karma) and our mid lane Nasus all did quite well. In fact, even though Nasus has the worst KDA out of all us, I'd say he actually carried us this game.
He took first tower off of a Morgana at around 10 minutes, and for the rest of the game, he was constantly drawing half or more of the enemy team towards him. Thankfully, I wasn't the only one who knew that trying to save a Nasus from 4 enemies is pointless.
Come the 30 minute mark, we had 4 dragons (3 of which were Infernal), and 6 towers (one of which was an inhib tower.....thanks to Nasus); compared to their 3 towers (all being outer towers). And because of this, MY team was ahead in gold for 85% of the game (that small bump at the end was them taking Baron, and an inner tower, I believe).
Most of the fights were small skirmishes between 2 or 3 people scattered across the map constantly, and, this actually helped us, because, as I'm sure you can tell, their teamfighting was FAR better than ours (despite our 3 infernal drakes), BUT, me and Nasus could essentially 1v1 anyone on their team (except Rammus.......he took no damage from me).
So, remember folks, the scoreboard is only a small portion of the game. If you're behind on kills, but ahead in objectives, YOU ARE WINNING.
