Playing Safe Is Fine.
Playing like you don't Exist is not.
I see this way to often when i play a champion that's got a good engage, more often than not when a team is lined up ready for the pickings even if it's an obvious 2v3, 3v4, 4v5 whatever and our team has an advantage, if i go in, no one does anything. Like, i understand you fed your laner, or maybe my own laner got fed somehow, but they still make mistakes, they still get overconfident and they can still be beaten. The only reason, for example, that the enemy top laner keeps pushing you in is because they know your jungler won't do anything and isn't applying any pressure and they know you don't know how to punish. If this kind of stuff continues you might as well surrender because what your doing in that situation as the jungler is telling the enemy team "You can do whatever you want, i don't care." and more often than not that's what happens, they do whatever they want, never get punished for whatever mistake they make and we ultimately lose the game.
This isn't just true for Jungler's, laner's need to understand that you can't just let your laner make mistakes without punishing them, did your laner go OOM from poking to much? Beat, the, shit, out, of, them! You can't let the enemy get away with toying with you, you need to have some initiative and actually fight someone, even if your behind THEY CAN STILL FUCK UP! THEY ARE HUMAN! DON"T BE AFRAID TO SHOW THEM WHO'S BOSS WHEN THEY MAKE A MISTAKE!
End of Rant.
