i hate lee sin junglers

ScarnMichaelScar··48 votes·3,475 views

mostly because im not level 30 yet.

and every lee sin jungler is a wannabe "pro" smurf who usually just ends up diving too much and feeding.

only reason i hate him. he's not op or anything.

i just detest the noobs that pick him up because they think he's op.

That, and having the nerves to mention bs crap like "LOL U GOT OUTPLAYED" & "GIT GUD U FKIN NOOB!"

Like yea, I'm sorry you need a jungler with tons of dashes, %HP damage, & a mindless kick that damages literally everyone in a line for no reason, whilst I'm going the easy route as Tank Nunu.

Zed "OUTPLAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD"

No, you just hit W twice in the direction of your tower because you were ganked. A mentally handicapped monkey could have done the same thing less obnoxusly

Baunjo4 votes

Applying animals to a human being playing a game. I get that it is annoying when people are like that, but that does NOT MEAN champs like Zed are easy...

Knoyle2 votes

As a whole he may not be easy but, just using a 1 skill escape doesn't mean you are good at the champ. ANYONE can spam Leblanc's QWW harass. Anyone can hit something with Lux's E. Pretty sure it doesn't take a Diamond to figure out how to block an attack with wind wall. The skill comes in with how you apply it. I can honestly say you can be bat shit panicking and still pull an escape off with Zed unless you were really stupid and blew all your energy on an all in that didn't do jack or shit (in which case suck it up and accept you played yourself when you get deleted)

Baunjo2 votes

Zed is not a mechanically intensive champion, and I think people forget that. It is not HARD to use his abilities, what is HARD is effectively using your 3 ZONES and SHIFTING BETWEEN THEM while making use of all of them... I have never found landing skill shots to be hard whatsoever. But getting to the place where you can effectively use all 3 of your shadows to land your abilities AND use the second cast ( the blink to the shadows ) to dodge CC Is actually a hard thing to do.

Sorry you decided to join the hate group of kids who get destroyed in lane because they cannot dodge spells, but zed IS a VERY HARD champion to play well.

Knoyle2 votes

Please reread what I said. I believe you are not paying attention. I'm not saying Zed isn't difficult. I'm saying using a two button combo is simple on almost any champion. Using your w to get from point a to point b is not rocket science. Calling that simple crap an outplay is insulting to the people who actually juke like crazy.

Baunjo1 votes

I read what you said. And I responded based off of what you said. Sure you could easily use your R to escape, against people who forget it exists. You can also easily dodge cc and important stuff with W, assuming the people you are playing against blatantly refuse to keep track of his cooldowns.

I want to ask you a question. When is Zed most vulnerable?

Knoyle1 votes

On CD or out of Energy but I suppose you had something else in mind?

Baunjo2 votes

Okay hopefully you will actually LISTEN this time. Did you know that zed appears BEHIND YOU every single time ( in relevation to where he ulted from ) ? Most people clearly do not. Strangely enough zed is still a super squishy champion when he build 5 or 6 damage items, so throw your cc backwards when he ults you and watch him get deleted. No worrying about his shadows dodging your abilities.

Knoyle1 votes

This isn't about his counterplay. This is about how difficult it is to pull off his escapes.

Baunjo1 votes

I really don't think you are understand this. His escapes are predictable as all hell, you just have to play against him enough until you are more familiar with his kit.

I mean seriously, I watch waaaaaay too many Lux players deliberately refuse to think. Throwing out their Q randomly when you can easily W over it instead of stunning him when he ults and then shields.

I have another question, what do YOU think would make his escapes that are just " too easy " a bit harder?

SP Dodgecity3 votes

Maybe not suprer duper easy, but since he's energy based and how pretty low CD's (until patch) He can get away with alot of crazy dives with no punishment, Low risk and high rewards equals easy champions XD

Baunjo3 votes

Zed is only low risk in bronze and low silver because people counter-pick themselves, do not pay attention to where he throws shadows, and blatantly do not understand how vulnerable his ult makes him.

SP Dodgecity1 votes

One I agree and disagree with you. Zed fed in mid lane against a noob, then yes it does become low risk high reward.

I saw a post recently though, its on the "Best" catergory, you should read it.

It talks about how leveling out of bronze and silver is actually pretty difficult because although you may know what you're doing, 50% of the population in bronze and silver have no idea what they're doing.

Making leveling out of silver difficult. That came from a Diamond player, on their smurf, getting out of bronze and silver. I suggest you read that cause I honestly hate the bias that everyone in silver and bronze are bad. Its not true, a lot of people are very good, but you literally have to carry entire teams by yourself very often and that is just not possible in some roles/champs. Like Supp mains, etc.

Zed is very strong and like LB, he has a lot of opportunities to dive, get kills, and instantly get away, which is still low risk because of how fast he can get away. Personally I don't mind laning against a zed, but I don't main mid, so I usually only see the over fed version.

Baunjo2 votes

First off my dude, i'm silver 5 and won't be playing league for another good month or so to climb out of silver. Low risk High reward Zed has nothing to do with how many kills he has, you could get super fed and still get rekt by the rest of their team that didn't suck.

I know how shitty it is being in low ELO, i don't get why you brought it up to me...

T RexHasTinyArms2 votes

Honestly I think zed's ult right now is a pretty good amount of risk. The timing to hit him w/ stuns etc when he pops up behind you doesn't take that that long to learn and is pretty exploitable bc you know where they are going.

Also on the subject of low elo (I'd include at minimum the bottom half of gold there as well so I'm counting myself as low elo here) I'd argue that there really is a relatively large skill gap. The percent of players in diamond+ is really small, but the barrier for minimum knowledge of competency in this game is fucking huge. You don't really start seeing people who know ALL the basics until you're a decent way up low elo, and so even at the high end of low elo (I'd say probably somewhere in gold or low plat) you still have people making a lot of mistakes that aren't forced. I think that's where the "low elo is bad" mentality comes from. There are plenty of people who are decent at something who are in low elo, but I've never seen someone in low elo w/ me who was good at everything and consistent. People in my elo, at least in my experience, either suffer from limited mechanics, limited champ pool/team comp understanding, limited objective control/decision making, or limited consistency (ie tilt easily or play high risk high reward that hits the risk and fails often). While I don't think people should be berated for being low elo, I think being defensive or upset about it handicaps player growth bc people tend not to acknowledge something is lacking in their play. My mechanics are so bad I've been struggling even w/ amumu's 1 skill shot, and realizing my mechanics were causing problems w/ me playing a champ I like I chose to focus on trying to improve w/ his kit (holding q till I'm closer or landing it after ult, using blue smite to slow targets and make them easier to hit, learning to use fog of war and brush better, that kind of thing). Instead of being upset that I'm weak at part of the game I can accept it, and use it as a focus of where to improve. I think it's one of the sadder things about our community that people are so wrapped up in being jerks about rank and stuff that the immediate reaction tends to be defensive rather than just accepting of short comings and belief that large gaps in rank tend to represent a gap in skill, albeit sometimes it is hard to predict where the gap is (ie some players are high elo solely on mechanics and can crush lane so hard they bring amazing pressure, some read gank patterns and make calls that are brilliant, and those aren't similar sections of skill at all).

Bro even a mentally handicapped monkey can master the most difficult champion in the universe provided he puts in enough time.

So saying a champion is not easy really doesn't hold as an argument.

And then you make the most pro play move ever dodging a Malphite ult with flash and a Lee Sin Q with Elise's rappel, stunning the carry and dupstep igniting for the kill.

And no one notices.

Left Hook Larry2 votes

Implying Lee Sin is easy to use?

Anidan2 votes

People will say he's easy to use no matter what. Though, I think the correct argument here is mastery. His skill floor isn't too terribly high, but his ceiling is pretty well up there.

Then again, very few champions have an actual skill floor high enough to be worth mentioning. Just the nature of this game: easy to pick up, hard to master.

Left Hook Larry1 votes

Lee Sin is definitely not easy to pick up. There's a reason he has one of the lowest win rates in the game. Everything about him is skill based.

Rossendale8 votes

Lee Sin's playerbase is pretty toxic as well. Some of the worst players in terms of attitude/behaviour I've met were Lee Sins. I remember one Lee who kept on implying that he only ever died because he let us kill him since he wanted to make the game harder for himself. When we finally lost, he made a remark about how he felt like he was playing with beginner bots and left. Lee's kit is just an invitation for wannabee pro players to try and show off how "good" they are.

Only Play Darius2 votes

I would say the same with Yasuo too. I'm usually pretty friendly but when I play Yasuo I often end up muting everyone because playing him makes me want to be toxic, I don't know why

HeadHonchkrow1 votes

When I play Vayne I feel angry all the time

Knoyle1 votes

I honestly feel like Lee Sin is just a bait champion as in they made him seem way too appealing and because of that having him in your match is either good or horrendous. I played against one that didn't seem to understand how Nasus works.

Anidan1 votes

Most toxic people to me are Nasus players. No idea why. It has nothing to do with the myth that all they do is farm and afk push their lanes without helping their team otherwise, because Nasus players I tend to run into don't really do that - they try to help their team... in action, anyway. Verbally, they are the most abusive teammates I have ever come across, even when nothing they say is being directed at me it's just plain horrible. A lot of the Boards have run into some very toxic Vaynes, Yasuos, Lees, and so on, but I've never run into anything more toxic than Nasus players myself. Luck of the draw, eh?

Dukues4 votes

He's played in like every ranked game ever. Its kind of funny in low elo because you know 90% of the time he is going to do dumb dives and feed. Once in awhile a player is really good with him or is a smurf or whatever and that sucks but the other 90% of games negate that.

Now I did make the mistake of giving a plat lee sin crap in my ranked game the other day. I immediately regretted that decision as he went on to hard carry the game for his team.

I JUST WANT TO BE GOLD AGAIN RIOT WHEN WILL YOU PLAT PLAYERS BE OUT OF SILVER/GOLD 5 AND BACK IN PLAT!!!!!

GorillaBearz1 votes

I know that feels! I'm Silver 2 (was Silver 3 when this happened) and got put up against a Plat 3 Irelia main. RITO PLZ!?!1*[zombie-brand-mindblown]*

I once faced a Lee Sin top when I was in my placements... I'm fairly sure he was a smurf or... Just actually quite good, because he kicked my ass all over the place and had great minion control and whatnot going on.

YCitizenSnipsY1 votes

I think that is just a thing with Top Lee Sins, they seem to be the only good ones in an average game.

LatetotheRace3 votes

And this is why his winrate is so low. Every retard and their grandma wants to be leet 360-blind-scopeing people with Lee.

warpenguin5552 votes

What the Lee's do in my elo (silver) is that they fuck up their ganks, rage, then afk farm their jungle for the rest of the game. #fkbadleesins

Carry2 votes

You're not even level 30 so I feel I may still be able to reach you. The truth about Lee Sin is that he is a terrible, terrible champion. He's extremely fun to play and can make ridiculously flashy plays so despite being one of the weakest champions in the game people continue to pick him. He gets picked a ton so that in conjunction with his flashiness exposes everyone to a bunch of crazy Lee Sin plays. Those crazy plays make people falsely believe that he has this godly kit that allows him to outplay everything, when in reality other champions are much more effective than Lee Sin and require much less effort and outplay to get the same or better effect.

Don't let people tell you he's strong but difficult. He's weak and difficult. You'll never reach an elo where Lee becomes a good pick because players are finally able to play him well. He's bad all the way to the top. You're not even level 30 but Lee's on your team will be one of the biggest predictive factors for you losing in Bronze, in Silver, in Gold, in Platinum, and in Diamond.

And everywhere you go you'll see people circle jerking about how OP he is and it will never make sense to you.

Baunjo1 votes

I'm not sure why someone down voted this. I have actually made a post about how you can get basically the same effect if not better with an easier to learn champion.

He's flashy so naturally he'll attract cancerous players. Nearly every lee sin main i've played with has been a snob with a chip on their shoulder. when they're doing well it's because they're pros and everybody else is a noob. If they're doing poorly then obviously everybody else is using op champions and his team is holding him back. Lee sin players are a carbon copy of yasuo/zed/vayne mains

GlockHammer1 votes

That moment when Lee Jungler on your team goes:

Hah! Get carried!

After the game.

Despite the fact that you, the toplaner, have a quarter the ammount deaths, despite tanking 2 times the ammount of champion inflicted damage damage.

Three times the kills, despite lacking half the tools he has to get the job done, despite destroying you lane while getting camped, despite destroying your lane without a single gank AND while doing his job by destroying the botlane with welltimed teleports and securing dragons.

Twise the assists and kill contribution, despite the fact that the only ability you have to quickly get around is a spell on a five minute cooldown (teleport).

Not to mention have done almost double the damage to champions.

But Lee:

I have the most damage dealt in total!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me:

No shit Sherlock, that's what happens when you tax your teammates lanes despite failing the gank on top of not sharing a single camp, not even red or blue, with your teammates.

Lee Sin:

Furgh yer mohma. I carried YUUUUH!%=)#(""#¤ (insert extreme profanity).a)U=)%/¤("#()&%/#alluahbaargh!!!)=#¤"

Not to mention, when when half his kills are secured for himself by kicking the target AWAY from his teammates so he can wow much skillz QRQ.

To those Lee Sins I say: Good job./s

To the Lee Sins that utterly fail that and instead kick opponents to safety I say: Excellent work./s

To the true Lee Sins mains that actually are good, not toxic and realise the game is a team effort and snowballing is best when spread across multipe teammates I say: I salute you. /no s

I've played with plenty of decent Lee Sin players, but there is always that "Lee Sin-drome" at play, where you're COMPELLED to take that Q dash to your death.

Pro** tip: if you're fed up with playing against Lee Sin players, try playing Pantheon jungle. Unless he gets a massive lead on you, you'll beat him in fights at every stage of the game.

SH Azykan1 votes

Lee can kill pantheon levels 1-2 and 6-9 if they are on equal terms. pretty much every other time, yeah Pantheon is going to destroy Lee 1 on 1 (as someone who plays both)

Lord Galvatron1 votes

Lee Sin is one of those skill-based champs that is difficult to play for the first few games. Once you get good as him however, you instantly become the bane of low elo.

GlockHammer1 votes

Honestly, I hate Nidalee jungles far more than I hate Lee's, she's uncatchable due to runic and her stupid bush passive. Those long rage 1 shotting spears have also made a return with runic amping up her damage more than ever. At least I can counterplay/counterpick Lee Sin, what jungler does well against a competent Nidalee? I wish they would hit her harder, she is complete BS at the moment.
