Honour shouldn't affect limited-time rewards.
Obviously this isn't getting upvoted, because apparently, anyone who gets upset at feeders is automatically deemed subhuman and unworthy of any consideration for the next 4 months before they get back to Honour 2. That's just the sad world we live in.
You can get chat-restricted for ANYTHING these days. You can be the most white-knighty virgin beta-male in all of California and reach Honour 4 or 5. But if you're grinding ranked games day after day in the hopes of finally getting Gold, or Platinum, etc, and in your last promo game, you end up getting a 0/13/2 Morde ADC and 2/11/0 Yasuo support, it takes a whole lot of willpower to not say minor things along the lines of, "Are you fucking kidding me?" or, "You actual baboon!!!!!" And if you fail, then BOOM!!!!! All those months of you kissing ass is out the window!
But I get it. Punishments need to be doled out in the same way driving examiners need to fail a certain amount of students to avoid losing their own job.
---Chat restrictions? Sure, why not. Let the pure rage you feel remain all bottled up as your Yasuo support goes 2/11/0 in your promos, because that cruelty is a justified punishment.

Because it takes a long-ass time and a boat-load of games to grind your way back up to Honour 2 after a chat restriction. It's been 2 months for me, and I haven't gone up one single checkpoint! That's uncanny!
So what if you're good all year long, and then sometime near September, you just lose your temper for the first time in months, and then Boom, you go straight from Honour 4 to Honour 0? How are people who get that unlucky that late into the year supposed to catch up?
Right now, I'm just hoping the next skin is going to be Victorious Renekton, so I can tell myself, "Phew, it's only Victorious Renekton. Fuck Renekton."
