I'd love that, and I hope there's a Darkin storyline, but for the love of god we need to swap (and alter slightly) his passive and his W. Rito please.

Thanks, Katey. I'm sure you can't speak to this, but unless this is all part of a larger storyline or rework, why change the narrative at this point in time? I read a little of the leaked thread, but I'm assuming those VGUs are going to constitute a major of the VGUs for 2018.

At any rate, can we just swap his W with his passive, and make that an AS steroid?

You're right, this isn't something I'm able to answer - I'm on the skins team and don't work too closely with other teams (unless they're updating existing skins, then we work really closely!) Riot Jaredan tweeted out the writers and their Twitter handles. They may be able to provide more info on the narrative itself, as well as the timing. :)

If I wouldn't break the game with my low-tier plat knowledge, I'd be way more apt to theory craft gameplay changes. :P

I have one question, can u maybe release a new good Draven Skin ? Some one which match with his personality ? I saw u want to release a Santa- Draven but in my opinion this wont be a good skin :/ I wished you could make a project Draven, a legendary, or something with gem stones, i would buy it instantly. Hope you can give me a answer :) P.s. sorry for my bad english :P

Is there any way possible that champions that have very few skins like Lissandra and Sol get some new skins any time soon? i know Illaoi is due for one but :/ kinda sucks that champs like Ahri and Miss Fortune who have tons of skins keep getting them when there are champs with less than 5 skins.

Totally get where you're coming from! I'm not able to give any details or hints on upcoming skins, whether it be thematics or particular champions. We do keep tabs on who has/hasn't had a skin in a while and keep it in consideration when looking at creating new skins, whether it be a one-off like Beekeeper Singed, or an entirely spread for a thematic like PROJECT or Star Guardian.

Well like what Katey said earlier (and Meddler in a different post), Varus won't get a rework but he will get a new splash art soon and Meddler mentioned that he will get gameplay tweaks sometime next year but we don't know when it will happen nor what parts of Varus's kit will be tweaked though the changes will be slightly larger than when his passive got modified in patch 6.24.

Can I just say that I am super in favour of more VO updates for champions who might not need to be updated in other ways? Varus would be a super good candidate for that I think now that his lore has shifted a bit.

Especially now that League has a much larger focus on storytelling and stuff a lot of champions can have these super interesting personalities on paper but have nothing interesting to say in game and it can be super disappointing.

I remember wanting to try Olaf after the Harrowing story and being heartbroken by his lines just being lame generic Viking-y stuff.

Is there any word that Ahri might be getting a new VO? Frankly it's extremely unfair that Varus is now high priority for a new VO when his only doesn't fit him anymore because he got a large lore retcon, next to Ahri whose VO has never (lore-Ahri is a reformed and guilty-stricken killer, VO-Ahri makes sexual death threats when ordered to attack) fit her character.

I'm not sure about the tweaks to the default skin (I'm personally not aware of anything, but I'm not on the team that would make the tweaks), but Reav3 did comment a bit about the VO here. :)

There are 3 things that could be tweaked. Varus currently wears a necklace, scarf, and some sort of chest band. All three could be removed. If the necklace is removed one of his idles would have to change since he picks up the locket and looks at it.

His textures are rather outdated. Something along the lines of Zyra texture update would be appreciated. The color scheme could be slightly adjusted to match Darkin colors rather than void colors.

Please consider Varus for a rework! He would be much more fun with 3 basic abilities, and his W would be better suited to his passive anyways since it is the core mechanic that ties his kit together anyway!

I swear to god, diversity for the sake of diversity is the plague of modern storytelling. You are essentially telling fans "We know you loved this character, but we needed an [insert token minority], and it's cheaper to completely destroy an existing character instead of making a new one." And that's how you get your characters hated and known by their former fans as "That champion who got essentially deleted because Riot wanted an F-word chracter to appease the rabid SJWs."
