Anyone else tired of LeBlanc having the best mage cooldowns in the game?

I cannot wait till the assassin rework to see Leblanc get the Taric and Mordekaiser treatment. In her current state, she currently has next to no mana consumption issues or cooldown issues and her CC is very very buggy and has a broken hitbox. It will be nice to see Riot gut this champion who is quite frankly offensive to the mage class as she does not share any of the weaknesses of other mages and can stay perfectly safe while dealing damage.

Her ult cooldown is a total joke and I am really surprised that nobody else has called out this blatent bull-s**t till now.

Riot always say "Point and Click Abilities are Toxic" and yet, all the assassins are allowed to keep theirs while champions like Taric and Zilean lose theirs. This just does not seem fair at all.

she has alot of high damage and low cd but at what cost?

bare bones utility with her snare no survivability/sustain lack of team fight presence.

compared to her ad assassin counter parts, ap assassins aren't doing as well (say Ekko).

Zilean and Taric arnt even assassins so I dont get why you keep comparing them to Leblanc

Uh can't you see? Taric andZilean are clearly both assassins. It's so obvious. /s

OK EVEYONE, listen.

Leblanc used to be my most HATED champion, hated her. But one day I bought her and tried to play her. Now I really like her, she requires SO MUCH skill to use correctly, people who do well on her, I dont hate them, instead, I have HUGE respect for them. Shes difficult, doesnt do much outside of oneshot a single person. And the Whole thing about her CD's is complete BS, infact I dont think her Mimic is low enough early on sometimes. I feel like my cd's are 2-4 seconds too high sometimes. AND FORGET ABOUT CSING, her csing falls off way hard, or its atleast very had for her outside of wasting her dash and Mimic.

Truth is, shes weak in a teamgame aspect, strong in lane. Needs a buff if anything. BUT she is getting reworked abilities come november with more outplay potential, same bursty combo. Cant wait to see whats coming up for her, I respect Leblanc palyers now that I play her occasionally now too, after that prestigous splash update with Smexy Smirking had to buy it.

Respect Leblanc players, they deserve it.

I mean she's more of an assassin than a typical mage. And that's her whole gimmick. She has nothing else.

Maybe its time to change her design then because having an assassin who can deal damage and then instantly return to a safe position seems a little toxic and does not provide much counterplay short of bursting her down in one go and even that is difficult because of her passive.

Except her Q by itself deals practically nothing. Her major burst (until late game) is her proc'ing the Q mark (usually with W since that's the easiest). Learning her W cast range and the AoE damage range on it helps. Buying MR helps a ton as well.

She is just one of the champions that is infuriating to play against in lane, sort of like Zed or Darius or the like. But she's not really problematic or toxic. Balance-wise, she is fine. The reason she is getting a rework is probably to address said frustration factor lower-tier players feel against her and to put more of her "Deceiver" identity into her kit.

Also, she can return-tap fairly quickly, but it's still nothing close to instantaneous. Her combo is fairly standard. Hit Q, W in. All her other combos are more or less some variation of that (or replacing/adding E in).

Unless she has a reason to stick around, it's fairly obvious she'd just double-tap to go and then back. Her W is a dash (first cast) and blink (second cast) if I remember correctly. The two pads are in a straight line from each other, so just shoot said skillshot down the line. Or if you have any point and click or short range, just hit her with it in the face if she tries to W you. (Although it'd be better to try and dodge her W by respecting its range and skirting it if possible).

Pinks help against her passive.

My problem with her is that her damage comes out so fast, and so hard, she zones you off just by being Leblanc.

which is going to be changed with the update. But I am not sure how Riot will design a deception tool that isn't frustrating to play against, even if it is slower than her current burst.

I don't really care to be honest.

Whats wrong with leblanc having good cooldowns? What is it you hope to do before her whatever comes off cooldown

Calabok2 votes

Nope. Shes fine

Ok sure but why1 votes

her w could use a little tuning, but that's it

maybe make it longer, but shorter if it hits a champion

yes, yes that's perfect

Her CD isn't actually that short. Not sure where you get that. Most mages have some ability that can be spammed every couple seconds or DoT. Leblanc has neither. She literally does her combo and can't do anything else for a period of time.

All the assassins? Fizz's Point and click can be dodged and he is a melee only champion who needs to dive into the enemy team and the ability is a damaging ability. Taric is a support tank who supports his team and the point and click was a ranged hard stun. Totally different roles and totally different abilities. I mean, if you want to make Fizz's Point and click Q be a skill shot be my guest but then because it is now a skill shot, the range is improved and have fun with fizz 3.6 sec gap open now because he can skill shot Q away and then E and doesn't need minions or monsters to do that anymore.

But yes, Leblanc, despite having her skill ceiling high, needs to have some more trade offs and weaknesses in her kit. Riot has stated that having a higher skill ceiling does not give a champion the right to tower over all others with a lower ceiling if mastered. Otherwise that is all you would see in LCS and in challenger and masters and most of the roster would be simply unviable.
