So pretty much all of my friends despise my main, Riven.

The most common reasons I get why are.

:Too much damage :Too much mobility :Too little clarity :Plain annoying to lane against and can leave you wondering how do you even fight back

What do you guys like or dislike about her and without making drastic changes to her kit and playstyle how would you fix her?

I actually had an idea of giving her a two part runic mark on her Q casts so when her third Q was prepped everyone (including the enemy) would know, even if her third cast was prepared in fog of war. I think that would be a fair change and offer more information for the enemy to play against and react to her with.

I dont like how she gets a good small trade with mini-cc so you cant fight back, then dashes away again so.. well.. you cant fight back. And how tanky she is but thats mostly item 3156 being balanced xd

I also dont like how I always feed my ass off or just do nothing as Riven even tho my mechanics with her are above average... like how am I supposed to engage on anyone without flash item 3070

Yeah I dislike that she is vulnerable. Sure, I see why full invulnerabilty would be toxic so I suggest we just double her E duration and reduce her ult CD. Those changes would be fun.

Honestly, I think changing her q so the cooldown started after q3 instead of after q1 would fix almost all of my issues with her landing phase.

This is a fair point altho it would be a drastic nerf to riven and she would have to compensated for it. She would likely get a pretty significant cooldown nerf so its a net even early but she cant stack her q's late game to third q and q again right after. I have spent time trying to figure out what could be changed about riven to make her more friendly for people playing against her without sacrificing her identity and more importantly what makes her fun. and I havent thought of anything as of yet.

Changing her to be more enemy friendly is hard. Because she's just simply not supposed to be.

My idea for the clarity on when her knock up is up is really the best I could come up with.

Riven is actually way easier kited than Garen DrMundo Hecarim etc. She's basically Yasuo in the way that she's not a "QWER = kill" champ. She's basically gonna outplay you or you're gonna outplay her instead.

I think right now she's dead beat awful and that most people can beat her in lane unless the Riven player knows the champ very well. She's basically a squishy front liner with a 1 second shield

Given the fact that she relies on an exploit to be played effectively, I'd say she's anything but fine. In my experience, 99% of Rivens are easy to play against, but when you play against someone who knows how to abuse her animation cancelling, its a nightmare of a lane.
