That game. This Eve, with that build, LITERALLY ONE SHOT ME when I had 4k health. Where is her damage coming from? Even FULL ASSASSIN EVE, WHICH I PLAY A LOT doesn't do that much damage. So, how the fuck does she do that? She could even kill a full defense Rammus within a couple seconds -- what in the hell is her damage?

And, on that note, why in the hell does Garen have a free win button on his R? He was literally feeding top lane, I was 10/1, he had 6 (SIX) farm by 15 minutes... yet he came back that hard? Why does he need to be able to do that for pushing R?

Your entire team comp had a single (literally, single) hard cc.

You allowed it to go to late game.

Why are you surprised that you lost?

I didn't lose. We almost did, but we still managed to win by just splitpushing and forcing their team apart.

As a frequent player of AD evelynn, no they didnt. Yes she will melt anyone short of a MAster Yi or Xin shao in a 1v1 but shes terrible in teamfights and still squishy.

Also lategame AD evelynn isnt a joke, its scary.. in 1v1 an 1v2 at most.

AD EVE NEW META. Her Scalings are so good, on her E and Q then with no attack speed items R5 E buffs you up to like 2.0 attack speed. So yes she melts people. But shes still really weak and easier champs do her job better. but its still somewhat viable and VERY VERY FUN.

I wouldn't call that weak at all. We literally could not fight when the Eve was around. She would take every teamfight and instantly turn it against us. We nearly lost because of her. Eventually we just started splitting and pulling their team apart... but good God. I kicked her ass up until like 20 minutes, then she just went around instagibbing everyone, even the Rammus.

I don't understand why that build does more damage than full assassin though.

Because Riot gets close to the microphone LITERALLY GUTTED AP/ASSASSIN EVELYNN. Ehm... Because she could instagib anyone. They didn't have the reveal mechanic on her stealth. She would walk up behind you and EXPLODE you with no warning. At least now you can see her coming in the MASSIVE detection range and if she builds AD it's easier to counter since armor is easy to get.

Get it in your head once and for all: if you have his big shiny sword above your head, Garen can kill you, period. No matter how fed you are, how shutdown he is, if the sword is on your head, respect that. Thing is, he can only do that against one person at a time. If he is shutdown and you are careful to not let him bounce his Villainy from people to people, he will deal negligible amounts of damage to the rest of your team, and he won't be terribly tanky either, so your team should be able to eliminate him.

But if you are the Villain, fear the Justice.

Half the time, I didn't have the mark. He would still just stand on top of me and deal absurd amounts of magic damage, then push R and do upwards of 1500 damage to me.

His only source of magic damage is Sunfire Cape (apart from R), and he has no Magic Pen, so... not really? As for the R dealing so much damage: if you are not the Villain, it's magical not true, so to deal 1500 damage post-mitigation, it needs to hit for at least 1950 (assuming you had no MR at all in your runes) which means you need to be missing ~3500 HP. If you are already missing 3500 HP, his ult doesn't need to deal 1500 to kill you anyway, you don't have 5K HP on Teemo, even with this build. It's not really dealing 1500 damage if you only have 500 HP left. And if you have 1500 HP left, then it doesn't deal 1500 damage anymore (since you have 1000 less missing health).

It's a bit convoluted, but a Garen over-killing you will make the R appear more powerful than it actually is. In other words, if I ult you when you are at 1 HP, I will deal a massive amount of damage, that will look impressive but that's useless, and I can't execute you when you have this massive amount of HP because if you have this amount of HP left, the R doesn't deal the same massive amount anymore.
