@Riot Even Satan Needs Love Sometimes.

Right now my lord and savrior is having a identity crisis. What category does he fall under? He is not a tank, mage, support, or adc. Right now I feel the most consistent performing build is item 3022 item 3124 item 3091 with item 3047 oritem 3111. This does not feel like the build of a scout nor with this build does he perform like one. The play style the works the best with Teemo is a split pusher who protects himself by laying down traps making it difficult for the enemy to catch him. At the moment his traps are very weak and I can see why they are a bit of a balancing issue and I see it akin to the stealth issue.

Traps are treated equally among all champions. However Teemo's traps are much more important to him kit than most other champs. They are his only peel and a large chuck of his damage. Unlike some one like Jhin who has other peel and damage that are much more effective. In addition other champions traps are not real long lasting with the only focus of controlling small sections of the map. Teemo is the opposite from all that his traps have the purpose of controlling large sections of the map (a lane or a side of the jungle) for a extended period of time (3-5 minutes). When the enemy support at lvl 9 can buy a sweeper and take out 4-5 shrouds which takes teemo about 2-2.5 minutes to set up in a matter of 5-10 seconds it really cuts their effectiveness. I do understand the needs for counterplay because stepping on endless traps with no way to see or clear them is just not fun to play against. My suggestion is to make them visable but not destroyable and allow them to still go off if someone steps on them that way you can be able to maneuver around them but they still allow for some battle field control. Also allow teemo to throw his trap at a longer range at a lower level so he can be more scoutlike.

More on his identity crisis I personally would like to see Teemo pushed into a more utility assassin role. Where he slips behind enemy lines and gains information for his team along with the ability to pick off enemies that venture into his terrirotry. So I would like to see a playstyle where he is less bursty but has safer DPS so he is rewarded for catching out targets that are too far from the team to receive assistance but is punished if the team is close enough to respond. A idea to push this playstyle is instead of attk speed steroid coming out of stealth infects the target with a debilitating toxin debuff that causes all DoT damage to be amplified on the target and is refreshed everytime teemo attacks the target. Some people complain about his lack of mobility however I am fine how it is. what I would like to see is while out of combat Teemo is able to stealth twice as fast or alternatively when teemo is stealthed he gaines a vison buff that extends his line of vision maybe double or a time and a half and is not impeded by terrain. These are both ways we could encourage a scouting playstyle that helps his team.

To wrap it up I really am looking forward to when we have a real scouting champion as its something that would be new to the game and I think many would find enjoyable to play. Teemo has a lot of the parts in play I just feel like he needs a few tweeks and I know that there are many other important large scale reworks underway like Warwick but I just want to let the community know that even Satan needs to be loved on every once in a while.

yes he has builds that work but they don't fit him as a champion. for instance like when tank fizz was a good build it just feels weird,
