I don't get why I play this game anymore. Truly.

Whether it's the blatant balance issues that Riot refuses to actually commit to (LeeSin Zed), the constant server problems (Yes I know there's an East Coast Server coming SOON(TM)), or just random shit in solo-que via AFK's or D/C's.

This game isn't fun anymore. Legitimately. A huge portion of the playerbase just seems to stick to FotM bullshit champions. Champions who Riot takes their sweet time doing anything about, saying how 'we need time to assess what we want such and such champion to accomplish'.

Nah, you know when you do that shit? In champion design, which is also a mess, because you want your newest releases to do practically everything. %HP damageGnar , extreme mobilityKalista ; little or no resource managementRekSai . Everything must be made for flashy Esports plays, or else the champion won't sell.

And then on the flip side, whenever some outlying champion sees play, Riot will not hesitate to kick them in the balls so hard that the players themselves cringe. Nerf nerf nerf, rarely actually buffing anything. Eventually this game's champions will turn into a giant grey blob where you can't tell the difference between them anymore.

Let's ignore the fact that almost half of the champion pool have stupid kits, because Riot created them back when they were shitting the proverbial diaper. Why are you not putting new champ releases on hold, and going back to do a massive scale tune-up on all of the champs that actually NEED it. Woohoo, you announced that Poppy's next; how long will that take? When will Taric, Urgot, Yorick, and Morde get something? ANYTHING? Are you expecting to just kick them under the rug in the corner and hope that the new players (who apparently are having a terrible experience with the legions of smurfs playing with them) just don't see them or get interested at all? 'Nice to know this priority order of yours.

Frankly I'm just about done. And if you've bothered to read this far and only have to offer a 'lol cya next week', you can just leave the thread now; you weren't going to contribute anything of value to this anyway. The ONLY reason I bothered to play Season 5 was because of the SR visual update, which is the only good thing that's come out of Riot in the last year. I say this because the last balanced champ they actually released was Vel'Koz, and that was pretty much a year ago.

So does anyone have ANY advice for me, any reason I should continue playing this game? I'm starting to regret how much money I gave Riot over the last 2 or so years that I've been a part of this community.

Your complaints are mostly invalid. You are ignoring the most important part of your post. You aren't having fun, so stop playing.

Contrary to popular opinion, riot mostly knows what they are doing. If you aren't having fun, just quit. Like, what do you think this post is going to do? If you are going to waste your time, enjoy doing it.

OP is right and we all know it deep in our hearts.

Also add J4 to the first two champions pictured.

I've never found J4 as toxic or gamebreaking as Lee (I'm ignoring Zed because I'm discussing their jungling).

J4 is always a solid pick because he's a jack of all trades. He still lacks innate sustain and does like 90% physical damage. Using his EQ chunks his mana quite hard, unlike Lee who constantly questions what this 'mana' is and why he's never heard of it.

He's currently filling the void that Vi used to sit in, but it seems people have dropped her in favor of Prince Demacia.

Stop playing and go find a game you enjoy? Like, if you aren't having fun, cut your ties and move on.

Yeah, I might as well. I've had other games on my list that I'm going to try out. DA: Inquisition, Dark Souls, Binding of Isaac, etc.

If you are not enjoying it, take a break. Whether it is temporary or permanent, don't continue to do something you are not enjoying. For your own sanity's sake, find something else that you enjoy. You should never feel like you have to do something just because you've put money/time into it. It was fun while you enjoyed it & worth the time, but once it stops being fun, don't torture yourself by continuing to do it.

The reason why myself and thousands of others stick with this game is the replay factor; every game is essentially different. I like games that do this, but it seems that 20 minutes into each game, some stupid shit happens and when I see the post-game chat, I'm thinking to myself "Well, I'm not getting that time of my life back".

I really should take a long break, maybe a month or so at the least, if not leave completely.

If the game is stressing you out that much, it is probably for the best.

I would just play normal's or take a break. As it stands right now there are issues, but until riot fixes them its just not that fun. I like playing old champs, but with new ones coming out and the 3 that are in dire need of nerfs yasuo, zed, and Lee. I just play normals mostly some days I do a rank here and there, but really its not worth it in my view. They will change them one day. Its just a matter of time.

Yasuo will never be balanced with numbers unless they turn him into Eve 2.0.

His kit is stupid and he has no resource management. He buys Shiv and IE and grabs one of the biggest, if not THE biggest powerspike in the entire game because someone thought that double crit chance was completely fine to put on a passive.

And let's not forget that his ult has a stupidly low CD at max rank while being able to proc off of ANYTHING that so much as bumps you two feet to the left. You'd think that shit would be hot-fixed to JUST be actual knock-ups like Malphite and Cho'Gath and Alistar, but it's still not changed.

BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE SLASHY SAMURAI KILLING EVERYTHING.

"It's just a matter of time." You're right, but we're into the 5th season of LoL competitive play. Why have these issues not been addressed yet? Have they been, yet Riot is twiddling their thumbs over and over and not actually going through with anything?

Yasuo only needs one adjustment. Being able to still cast spells while knocked up. Right now you can't cast while knocked up. When they allow you to cast while knocked up yasuo won't be a issue much any more.

Are you talking about his enemies using skills when knocked-up? It's supposed to be hard CC, that's not going to change. Knock-ups are technically the strongest CC moves in the game; a stun that can't be reduced by tenacity.

There are alternatives like DotA II, Strife, and Dawngate.

I tried Dawngate a while back and enjoyed it, but it's still in development as far as I know.

Strife is finished and already holding E-Sports events.

You didn't hear? Dawngate has been shut down.

The only other MOBA i'd be interested in would be Smite since I like playing with gods.

But then, the same issues would pop up; is the dev team going to cater to its playerbase or will it be balanced around how popular Esports are.
