...because she's too dense to realize that perhaps the Chosen one is actually HERSELF?
I mean, the comic itself was fun to read, but I can't help but question it.

I don't think that guy would have survived if he was given another halberd. Plus he asked for a weapon, she provided him one.
She's not accidently killing people. That guy was going to die no matter what Poppy did, at least Poppy gave him a fighting chance with an awesome hammer. If there's a bank robbery and I throw a cop a gun because the cop ran out of bullets but the cop dies to the robbers anyway does that mean I killed him?
Poppy has self esteem issues after being useless for so long.
Just another case of Riot's bad character design. Like her ult, it's all just a joke for the moment, but jokes get old, and that's what is going to happen to Poppy within a month of her release. Just like with Sion, she's going to be top of the fame then go back into obscurity because people will continue to play easier and more forgiving champions. And then the actual poppy players will be stuck with a character that doesn't even play or sound like the old Poppy anymore.
No different from someone taking your new car, driving it around in the mud all night, and returning it to you.
