Proper warding is still integral to the game. Knowing your and your enemies' powerspikes is integral to the game. Itemizing properly is integral to the game. Positioning is still integral to the game. Proper champ picks are still integral to the game. Good mechanics are still integral to the game. Good decision making is still integral to the game.

If you get deleted by an enemy champion and the only thing you can think of that went wrong is "game balance has gone to shit" then you're a shit player.

If you think that there is no skill expression involved anymore outside of reaction times and button mashing, you should face some actually good players.

It depresses me that this internet forum is rapidly turning into the generic "this game sucks now" circlejerk where people propagate lies just to reinforce their feelings.

Nothing matters in this game anymore except what champion you picked.

Here you can see a 1-8 Swain who fed his ass all laning phase winning a duel against a 13-3-6 pantheon who busted his ass to get himself and his team ahead.

The feeder still gets to be on top. Congrats Riot.

That's just Swain who they'll probably nerf soon likely, had one go 3/15 in one of my games yet still face tanked a team while doing reasonable damage.

Yeah you need designated item counters to fight those 1-8 trash players who were feeding all game.

If only we had unlimited item slots and gold...

EDIT:

I thought 5k gold difference between the two, 2 levels, and a blue smite (offensive summoner) should've been enough, but no, you have to build CERTAIN items to fight off these broken champs just because they're so overloaded and disgusting broken. OK!

If you build glass canon, expect to get one shot by literally anything. When you build 0 resistances, 0 health, and don't take defensive masteries, don't be surprised when you fucking die.
If you don't buy a GW item against someone with lots of in combat regen, you're going to lose a fight against them.
Assassins have always been weak against tanks.

If you can't get these 3 basic things through your head, then IDK what to tell you. That's just how the game is. The pantheon made itemization mistakes in this game and paid for it. That's his fault, not riot's.

That's both because Pantheon is garbage and because they overbuffed Swain. BTW yes, the game is in a pathetic state right now. It has always been to be honest, but now people are starting to realize. Veterans already left times ago, only few are left.

If i get deleted by a champion my first instincts is damage creep which players have been asking for to be toned down for awhile now, not any of the above you listed.
