Why the broken champs don't get nerfed.

Katarina Riven Vayne AhriZed etc.

They have zero diversity. If you try to build anything but straight damage on Kat, you're going to get destroyed. Riven doesn't even have AP scaling in her shield, where it is on most AD champs, and unlike most AD champs she can't be very effective with attack speed because she needs a burst, so all together you're at a big loss building even Trinity Force. Vayne's going to be an ADC build every time you see her, unlike Ezreal and Varus . Ahri is nothing but a mage. She won't be an ADC, her passive isn't strong enough to sustain in the jungle, and she can't build beefy enough to go top. Zed, like Riven, has no AP scaling and relies on his burst. He can build Bork to fit with his passive but he doesn't have the sustain for more AS items.

There are other examples, and it may be even more of a problem when a champion can do several roles and builds effectively Nidalee Lux Annie Ekko Jax , but this is all I'm gonna type.

I kind of agree but some champions like talon who for the most part isn't considered oppressive and has no ap scaling. They still took away his silence because it made him to "strong". The reality of all of those champions is they have complex kits that can be changed by simple number adjustments. Lower or remove damage on Ahri's e, Reduce Rivens AD scaling on her shield or increase CD's on her skills, ect. There is ways they can fix them but for whatever reason just dont want to.

Honestly the champions that get hurt the most are the multi role champions. Look at Kayle they nerfed her damage by 5 because her jungle was to strong which in turn makes her laning much harder or they "Gutted" AD fizz and put all the power in AP so he went from three lanes to one.

Increasing cooldowns on a burst-only fighter would just make her unplayable. She has too many skins and just got a new one. They wouldn't force a loss of income by nerfing her into oblivion.

I meant that the muli-role champs are a bigger issue. Especially in the cases of Fizz and Ekko , who were not designed to build AD or Tanky.

I dont get how people actually think AD fizz Was in a worst spot then AP. AD you had 2-4 seconds to kill him where ap if his ult lands you are dead and most likely you will be anyways if he is fed.

Riven builds pure CDR so honestly I don't raising a CD or two would make her unplayable it would make it so she has a strong early game (level 1-3 like normal) then fall off in the till she gets her 40%.

AD Fizz could kill tanks because he did a shit ton of %HP damage. AP Fizz cannot.

so one he can kill your tanks the other will kill both of your carries and laugh as the tanks will try to chase him lol.

As long as Lee Sin's viable that's all that Riot cares about.

I agree with you on Zed and Riven.

Not Kat? I've never seen a Kat go anywhere but mid and anything but flat AP items in three years.

Kat can top

The Ecdysiast1 votes

No she can't.

Not unless her opponent is also a mid-laner who just happens to be going top.

That also doesn't address the fact her build path is pretty much set in stone.

In the end it all depends on skill.

...No it doesn't.

As they show with balance, skill level has nothing to do with how well a champion is supposed to do against another.

In the top lane where you can't just roam and get kills by facerolling when you're behind, she'd lose to an equally skilled player.
