ADC top lane is totally out of control

I have yet to find a way to even hold lane vs the menace that is quinn/vayne/ANY ADC top lane. There was no reason to buff their base AD, especially now with tp nerfs and not being able to buy a lot of potions

Could you perhaps give a link to an example? None of your recent matches have you top vs. an ADC. Either you played those on a seperate account, Lolking is bugged, or you are just assuming this to be the case without any experience.

It's like if people were complaining about Soraka and Riot decided to make her MID lane stronger because she was stronger there.

I got banned for two weeks because I played an adc top lane in a randoms 5v5 tournament for being a "troll pick"

This was season 5 btw.

Also was not trolling.

If Teemo can go top, then Quinn can go top.

lol if you are talking about your trundle game... there isn't and wasn't anything he could do against ranged harass in lane to begin with so it's not the new changes that are to blame there...

as someone who played some sololane adc ever since S2, i can tzell you that little has changed for toplane adc(besides graves though), they always could dumpster melees with ease at top, unless it was a very assasiny melee like irelia, and those are still close matchups. The main way to deal with adc top is ganking, it's easy to force out their escape befor your jungler sshiws up, and it is also easy to towerdive them as they are really squishy with either little cc or no mobillity.

You typically can't count on a gank in YoloQ. Personally, I would go with someone who was Immovable. (I still enjoy Frozen heart rush on my Sion.) That way, I can deal with them later in the game.

But even if we remove Melee's because they get harassed in top lane. Top lane ADC's are not the only ranged Top laners out their. You have a whole range of top lane mages. (Vlad, kennen, Lulu also works) And with Gnar, you even have a ranged tank. So the whole Top lane ADC do have counter picks.
