You know, for someone that has spent the past 2 months preaching CS more and die less...

It has really, really done fuck all for me. I decided to work on it last season, and I succeeded. I cs well and I don't die in 80% of my ranked games. I achieved my goal. I am there. And here I am. Still really fucking bad.

What the fuck am I even doing.

thats only the start, if you can cs good and die less, you have more gold your opponent so you can fake full advantage of your lane, and use that advantage to help snowball the other lanes.

Eh, CS means nothing if you don't make use of it (just like Nasus stacks!). I rarely lose lane these days when playing my main Nasus, I always go even or win lane, but what screws me most games is when my teammates feed and then the fed enemy camps me and kills me under turret, regardless of me winning my own damn lane. So what I do now, is if I get advantage in lane, I milk it for all it's worth. I make their life hell, zone them from CS, and make them pay for their life every time they even think of grabbing that cannon minion. It's not enough to win your lane, you have to CRUSH your lane, the moment you get advantage, you need to shift focus solely to how you can make your lane opponent as miserable as possible. In low elo, your opponent is liable to ragequit/afk if you shut them down hard enough.

No one promised you that you wouldn't get feeders on your team, there is only one way to fix the problem. You have to get more fed than the fed person on the enemy team. Abuse the advantage when you get it in lane as much as possible. And this is when i'm playing Nasus, who isn't a lane bully at all and doesn't snowball very well, yet I still make my enemy regret the fuck out of giving me first blood, so imagine doing it on any other champ! Especially champs like Riven Darius Fiora Draven Leblanc who snowball very easily and obliterate the lane if they get the slightest bit fed.

This bit of info speaks to me. I'm going to try this, I've been losing a lot despite winning lane most games or going even at least. I think I need to play like a dick more and take more advantage of being ahead by bullying lane more or wrecking other lanes.

you dont learn things productively or you learn the wrong information

You also have to know when to fight, and when to NOT cs and join up with the team. Now more than ever in the tank meta, you have to group and force and win team fights. I don't play in lanes much, but you can't just stay in lane and cs the whole time. Another thing. You can always cs better. A goal to reach for is 10 cs ever min. so if a game lasts 20 min, you should have 200 cs, 35 350 cs, etc. Another thing to do is adopt different strategies. If you're playing with people you know, something you could do (that i've done and works well) is get bot tower early, then send the adc and support top to switch with the top laner. top laner takes bot lane to defend, only until the 2 bot laners get top lane turret, then they switch back, or get mid turret. Thats just one strategy. Also objectives are sometimes better than "not dying". Also map awareness. I played a game with a Riven the other day, who could have gotten top turret if she was paying attention (jax was mid taking that turret) by the time she reacted to the messages/pings to take the turret it was too late. She died, and blamed everyone else. (she was almost done recalling when she read the messages, stopped, and started taking the turret. by then Jax had taken mid turret (which was full health) and was halfway back up. she just farmed, then went to recall). GET THOSE TURRETS WHILE YOU CAN.

Some players spend 30 minutes farming. Good players snowball off enemy mistakes and make their leads big enough to win by 30 minutes.

You know, you can do both. Around half my games are over at 30.

getting 90 CS by 10 minutes is nice but when you are not taking advantage of the enemy mistakes in the name of CSing means you are not getting everything you could.

Let us put it this yay, say you were to miss 4 CS but force the enemy out of lane then push the lane under the enemy turret denying 10 minions to the enemy. You just got a much bigger advantage then you would have getting those 4 CS.

This a troll post or what? You seem to be winning alot and doing well/carrying a ton of games. I dont understand the point of this thread

Yeah, I win a lot, and then I lose a lot. I've been in B5/B4 this entire season, all 200 some games of it. It looks like I'm doing well, but in reality I'm exactly where I was in January (and July of last year...). Not climbing. Not better. Just shit.
