In solo que in the lower brackets. He does nothing better than any other support champion. This champion's power comes from great team coordination. Bard is not able to carry your team like a good Blitz, Leona or Tresh can.
Bard does not work well with champs that are weak early game. You just picking him because you want to play him in solo que is a good way to fuck your team over.

You bitching at a players pick before the game even starts is worse. Bard is a solid support, stop with the negativity just play it or dodge if you feel that strongly about it.

Bard can carry his team but it's more involved.

At low elo it's much easier to just land a hook.
