Some Advice To Help Top Laners

Originally this was a response on a different post, made it into its in post for more visibility, hoping this helps my fellow top laners, especially when they have unfair matchups.

I've been a top lane main since S2 but my biggest success as 1st picks in current meta are

All champs with gap closers or pokes.

are great picks as counters, but not 1st picks.

If you're against the second ones as the first ones (with Jax and Jayce as the safe exceptions) then I rush and try to roam as much as possible.

When I "win" as Wukong vs it's because I've successful killed the mid laner or enemy jungler repeatedly. I don't stay in lane and allow myself to be zoned/starved for 10 minutes.

Ping your jungler so you can double up on invades and mid ganks. Also, always take so you can get back to defned your lane.

These champions also outright win against the cheese tops like because they can all-in at level 3 without risk.

All said and done, the safest top lane picks that always guarantees a lane win are and Just play safe and they will guarantee a lane victory, but I prefer for his ability to get back line and take out priority targets.
