Cassiopia rework too unreliable

I feel like Cass whole kit is based on how powerful her ult can be. But here is the thing, her ult is incredibly unreliable unless in hiding in a bush. If the enemy is not looking at me in a direct straight line 100 percent, the ult will not stun.

I can safely say that 3 out of 10 times I have successfully stun targets without dying before the delayed ult goes off. Sure there is a lot of power in the ult, but it is hard to land.

And it feels like a lot of reliabilty and power is removed from the rest of her kit to compensate for a ult that is unreliable.

Why would I pick Cassiopia over Annie?

Annie has an incredibly reliable aoe stun with burst and sustain damage from Tibbers.

While Cass has a grounded CC that is also hard to land or stick on anything that can move. Hence the grounded effect is useless if you can't land the skill.

I was really looking forward to this rework, but sadly disappointed as this was one of the main reworked champs and this is likely the second disappointing rework for this champ.

The idea of grounded cc is great, but the whole champ kit is too unreliable even with item 3116 .

I never liked Cass' ult. The fact that she can't cast her W closer to herself now is absurd.

i think the problem is that she might be able to use it to stop dashes towards her and people trying to run away from her. which can be problematic

The biggest change to Cassiopeia in this rework is a massive increase to her dependability. She isn't waiting for her passive to turn on her damage and her E doesn't put her in a time out during a team fight due to one bad misclick, those were the two biggest problems with her reliability and they're fixed.

Her new W isn't reliable though, but I understand what you mean.

thie issue I see with this is that only the ult can "save her" from being dived now. before you could place the miasma under yourself, and time the Q for the speed difference to kick in to be able to escape (this is where grounded would really be helpful) but now... if they get close you're most likely dead. minor bonus points for keeping the poison interaction with Twin fang though. the guy did listen to the community.

i think the ult slow. should be massive and over time. but then again you will run into the problem that it gets toxic if it takes no skill to get that slow. some mechanic of her ult with an another ability. idk make her ult stun if someone is facing her or inside her misama. or if poisoned. idk

I NEVER understood the deal with cassio ult tbh.

I'd rather they nerf its range but make it stun regardless of the stars being aligned, a comet passing over Runeterra and Karthus singing a lullaby while the champion faces you.

Or just make it instant.

I think Cass will be so much better if Riot gave us a minimum-maximum range for her W. Like have the max range be what it is now, but have the minimum range be about half way between herself and max range. To balance it out, maybe have it go in a cone formation, so the further you cast it the wider the spread. That change alone will make her feel so much better with this new kit. Not being able to adjust your W's range is the only thing that I don't like about her.
