Haven't play ranked for almost a week. I stopped playing solo q 'cuz good adc = win, bad adc = lose. And what happened first 2 games after a break I took ? First game I played well and had a good adc so I won. Second game I played well but had a bad adc that lost tower and enemy bot lane snowballed every lane so I lost. I GOT CRIT FOR 1K DMG FROM 1 BASIC ATTACK. OK RIOT OK. Like holy fucking shit. item 3031 item 3087 item 3094 Hehe me adc me right click for 700 crit per one AA hehe me so gud hehe. You wonder why people become toxic in this game ? Yeah, it's really so hard to understand. Better take your time riot, 1 year of adcs rampaging this game, but hey take your time by mid season to decide what to do. Jesus christ. Fucking qtpie and scarra both said on btr that "I don't give a shit what other lanes do, if I get 1-2 kills on adc I know I fucking won the game." 2 ex pro challenger players said that. What the hell else do you need ???? Every stream I turn on, games are over by 15-20 mins. I'm in diamond 2 and it's the same shit. Bot lane gets ganked 2-3 times or just loses their lane and the game is over. Rest of the time is filled by waiting for FF or until they just fuck us in the ass one last time and end. I LOVED THIS GAME, but what riot is doing last few years is so frustrating. Now I just feel angry and depressed after the games I play. I'm really soooooooooo SICK of this.

selective memory I see. and what did I write in that post ? hmmmm ? that bot lane doesn't matter only in rare cases when your top laner is 0/10. Which in diamond don't happen that often. Nevertheless that game my bot lane lost anyway so your argument is null. Games are too snowbally. If you played in diamond you'd see. Every game is decided by 10-15 mins. No fun to play when you're on either side.

That kind of reasoning is funny because what you're describing is that the lane with a lead is actually stronger than the one that isn't leading. So if i get a kill and 40 CS, get a BF on my first back and the enemy laner manages to get a Pickaxe, i'm the one who has the DPS advantage in fights because that's how stats work.

Unless the enemy jungler/top laner/mid decide to involve themselves in a gank at bot lane or i misplay, i should be the one with the lead because i earned it. It's irrelevant if my team helped me out or not. That's the point of League. Junglers are supposed to gank lanes and it's up to every player to see an opportunity for a gank and execute it.

You'll never get a game state where every laner is keeping it to themselves for 20 minutes and then fights start happening. Junglers aren't supposed to be sitting in their jungle and just farming for half an hour either.

yup, most games are just one hypercarry vs the enemy team's hypercarry and the other 8 players scrambling around playing around their team's "superstar" . With ADCs rising more and more in popularity and playerbase , there are just an increasing number of ADC apologists. Rest of us just slowly shifting away to games like fortnite or PUBG. Like you cannot honestly sit there and watch caitlyn take 35% of your hp with 1 auto repeatidly, 2 shot you if u step on a trap or get marked by her E, and think HUH WELL DUR HUH THERES NOTHIN WRONG THERE AT ALL. There has to be a level of sanity to these adc apologists doesnt there?

HOWEVER, i dont think its fair to bash ALL of riot because I wanna give a huge thanks and moment of appreciation to RiotRepertoire. He just goes around replying to every thread in this shitstorm and even acknowledges some faults from the balance team's side. He acknowledged there is a problem with shielding and hypercarrys in multiple posts so I wonder where they will go from there.

my last sona game involved my bot lane crushing the enemy lane, and the rest of the team going 1/5 by the mid game and guess what? we lost. Anecdotal evidence is laaaame.

Well and what can I do if they do die 10 times before 7 minute? You expect me to roam as e.g. kassadin lvl 3? I'm sure with that juicy 40 farm and Dorian's ring I can make sick gank oneshot enemy ADC and make contribution to support kill while obviously my midlander won't take the noodle armored turret for turret fb. And definitely won't out CS me. Games nowadays are sht coin flips. You have to pray to get at best equal teams or you can forget about winning and even more, about carrying.

A better comparison IMO would be a 4/0 bot lane vs 2/0 mid lane and 2/0 top lane. in this case, despite mid and top winning, bot lane is more relevant thus the 4/0 bot lane will win the game. if its a 1/0 bot lane vs a 5/0 mid lane it's more likely that the mid lane will win because the amount of snowball that mid has accumulated overpowers the natural power of bot.

Just had a game where we got 4-5 manned twice by 8 minutes. How do you think it feels to play a bot lane role in this shit meta? Either your team 5 mans for you and you win, or the enemy team does it first and you lose. It's so stressful.

Seems like you need a break from ranking, we all do from time to time. Metas change, items change, champions change, and usually these three changes are one and the same. Changes will favor one role, and usually punish another. It's a phase everyone will go through at one time or multiple times as time passes, it's very frustrating and I'm on the same boat as you. First it's a tank meta, then an assassin meta, Ardent healing/shield meta, Marksman being about to 2 shot tanks, and mages being able to do the same. If I were you, I'd stick to playing normals with friends or randoms. Perhaps join some custom games and join/create a team. Sometimes we get too much into our heads with the competitiveness of ranking and the need to climb that it drives us bonkers! You could also use this opportunity to fit into the meta and learn different roles. Ranking doesn't need to be rushed, playing with a clear mind and a good mindset will increase your chances of ending the reason in a higher rank. This was my attempt to hopefully give you different options to get by while we pull through this difficult phase haha. Hope I helped!

My post wasn't intended to troll him whatsoever. Also, the point that I made was on topic and sincere. I never stated he needed a break from the game, I said it seemed as if he needs break from ranking. He stated that he was done with ranked do to the current meta, and he was upset with how games were determined by one lane. I replied by informing him that botlane is the problem now, soon it might be back to assassins, then back to tanks, and so on. It's bound to happen, no lane will ever be perfect and there will always be champions or other lanes that will just overall dominate the game. I'm sure when the meta benefited him he had no complaints, nor did I when Ardent was making my supporting a whole lot easier. I kept it realistic and suggested that he take a break from ranked and play normals or other features that Riot offers. I apologize if my post was taken the wrong way, I meant no harm. :(

Interesting because half the time I win my lane bot and get first tower and fed, either my mid or jungle feeds and then we lose anyways. I can't carry when the jungler on the other team has ganked every lane 4 times and our jungle is 0/5 and afk farming.

Junglers have a lot of power this season with games ending so short. I've seen the better botlane lose multiple times just because their jungle was garbage. More games are decided by jungler presence and how well the jungler does than botlane.

agree with this. i play most time toplane and HOLY CHEESE does most games s*ck atm even during early game.

If botlane stomps the enemys - > jungler needs to come and help to get his team at least a chance to win the game on the other hand: if jungler of the winning botlane just permaganks my (top)lane and i cant even try to fight my opponent in a fair fight.

and then i got last game an enemy yahuso who sucked (as about 50% do) and sh*ttalked in chat during end when his team was winning CAUSE OF HIS BOTLANE.

And if i (toplane) waste my TP to help bot, i lose to nearly 100% my turret.... WTF?! [sg-lux-2]

Make the god damn turrets tougher, Riot! We got enough ADC/weak tower - META. [sg-shisa]

Just safe your nerves. Play PubG, Hots, singleplayer games. It is literally not worth it to play ranked or league at all currently. This game is SO unbelievably shit right now i'm not gonna count everything again, just want to encourage you to drop this game for good until it gets better. Im not even that good in PubG but it is so much funny even if we die in the first two minutes i go into the next round, joking and laughing. Meanwhile ask my friends what it is like to play normals with me, let alone duoQ on my smurf. Im just constantly salting and raging when i used to be quite the opposite and people always told me playing with me is so nice im helpful, giving tips i stay calm no matter what and carry the game. Nothing left because of how shitty this game has become.

Hots is genuinely fun tho it lacks individual skill expression (im mean league does too right now) but atleast a fuckin squishy dies to my artanis bruiser when i get into range and not chain CC me forever and blow me up in 0,5 seconds.

Other games i can recommend are the dark souls series, witcher, life is strange, there is so much.

Just stop playing league you are not helping your self.

The game is fine and not decided by botlane. Since it has two champions, it will be responsible for 40% of the game, but top and mid and jungle are 60% put together. A fed botlane alone can’t carry.

But before you say “Well yeah if everyone but botlane fails you lose,” you did say that literally every game is decided by botlane. So take that back for starters. Which brings me to my next point. If not everyone but botlane fails, then botlane isn’t hard-carrying like you seem to imply. Let’s look at some examples.

If everyone except botlane goes even, then the team with the better botlane should squeeze out a close win. If jungle goes even, top does well, and mid does badly, then the same thing should happen because top would carry mid while jungle watched. Indeed, as long as the three solo roles come out to a wash, you should get the same result.

Now, since botlane has two champions, we’re really talking about a good Support and a good Marksman. Having one be good while the other is bad does nothing. So, your argument turns out to imply that if two players on a team do really well while everyone else goes more or less even, then they should still have a good chance of losing just because of their role. That’s not fair to those players and makes them unable to carry.

To close this reply out, getting your teammates fed is not beneath you, whatever your role. The jungler ganks to get lanes ahead. Mid roams to get sidelanes ahead. Top splitpushes for global turret gold and to draw pressure away from objectives. Support makes and enables plays. Bot takes down turrets, champions, dragons, and Baron for team gold and buffs.

What I hazard you really want (tell me otherwise if not) is for the game to be decided by whether you’re better. No-one wants that.

I had three games in a row with our top lane being insanely devoted to nutrition program of enemy team. Bot didn't decide anything, apart from me going afk.

I feel like there many factors to that, but main 2 are champion that is played and mental.

  1. Tristana gets a first blood and that is actually awful.
  2. If your/my bot lane dies once or twice they literally do not give a aht anymore. They splitpush, flame or do other dumb stuff. I'll just grind last 1~2 month to gold for the skins and that is all. Ranked is not competitive at all, pure stress where you do not test whonis better and improve, but who is less worse and can farm safely so their ad can right click nexus.

I can't stress this enough, the game is currently decided by bot lane, so play around that. I'm a support main and I have an EXTREMELY easy time winning games this season (look at my extremely high winrate). You aren't going to win if you try to fight the meta and camp top. The only time ganking top is even useful is when you want rift herald. Mid should be roaming and helping the jungler during the first rift herald and things like that. The support should be roaming mid and then mid should be roaming bot with the support. You need to play the entire game around bot and your chances of winning will go up by a lot. Stop trying to fight the meta. You can hate the current meta, but you're going to hate it even more if you try to play against it.

Then you play adc against something like new rengar and he can kill you at will and essentially remove you from the game. Adcs are bullshit but they are given so much because they can be deleted by so many champs/classes

It's evident that a single person on a team is too important when Skarner is meta. He can essentially make a fight 4v4 if he dives the ADC and dies while killing them. Now one team has an ADC and the other doesn't, and almost every time the latter will be crushed in that team fight (unless that ADC is like 0/10 which in that case Skarner will just kill someone else). Of course, there are other factors such as the new runes giving him more movement speed, rewards for said movement speed, and ultimate hat, but overall I believe the rise of hyper carries is what makes Skarner so good right now.
