Sejuani could be easily balanced if Riot would nerf the actual fucking problem

And not everything except the problem. Sejuani's stunlock is bullshit, so is the fact that any melee champ in 700 range of her can stack it for her. Did we nerf that, though? No, Riot decided to nerf her base stats, her passive stats, her R storm, her passive damage, and then we got an E nerf, and predictably it still didn't keep Sejuani out of pro play.

Listen. Here's how you handle this, easy as cake; 1.) Nerf E's aura range to 350. I'm resigned to the fact that Riot won't outright remove this horrible mechanic; you could at least make it reasonable so that Sejuani actually has to be somewhat near to you before Irelia instantly charges up the stun for her. Counterplay is your calling card, right? 2.) Remove R stun. Boom; immediately, Sejuani's BS stun locking vanishes and this + the above solves her OP status in pro play.

In exchange;

  • BUFF HER BASE STATS. GENEROUSLY. These are the best changes you can make to a champion for soloQ success.
  • Revert R storm nerfs; if you're not going to give me back the 5 man stun fantasy, at least let the cool part of the new ult be the focus since it's the part that creates interesting gameplay
  • Make W magic damage. Again, return her soloQ power; let me at least build her like I used to enjoy pre-rework where I could viably run AP bruiser or full AP if I was feeling ballsy. You let Zac and Gragas get AP build buffs, show Sej the same courtesy.

You don't even need to do a revert or throw in any extra changes. These are all simple number adjustments that will easily fix the champion you haven't been able to balance for over a year now.

free of charge btw

How does she stun lock? She can't even E stun you again after R stun. So she can 1.5 second stun every 10/9/8 seconds. That doesn't seem like stun lock at all.

Because you do E and R, not R then E? This isn't complicated.

Between a maxed E and R, that's 2.9 seconds of stun, added with her Q it's ~3.4 seconds where you cannot move, provided she combos all of it together perfectly. It used to be even dumber and she'd hold you down for 4 seconds by herself, but >3s stunlock is still far too much for a game like League, especially with the reliability that Sejuani has in executing it.

Well, 'it isn't complicated.' You're right. You've managed to think up of the rare, but ideal way for her to stun someone down... which I don't see very often from Sejuani players either. She op. It's a wonder how her win rate is so awful. That combo seems so easy, so universally good in all siutations lol.

Plenty of champions can do long CC. Yasuo himself can knock up an entire team for about 2.5 seconds. That's a LOOOONG knockup for one champ. #OP. Especially since knockups are a lot shorter than stuns for a reason, and his are AOE.

"rare" he says

It's a wonder how her win rate is so awful.

because sej depends on coordination and it doesnt exist in soloQ -- much like how Aatrox is ridiculous in pro and mediocre in soloQ. she's been op in pro play for a year and it took nerfing every single thing in her kit before she stopped maintaining high presence because, with GOOD players (this part is probably alien to you), she's pretty OP
