Lets compare current Cassiopeia to pre rework Cassiopeia... shall we?
Passive: As much as ppl didn't like old Cass passive, it was better than the current one. No amount of free movespeed could make up for losing 25% cdr and 20% bonus ap. And the best part is she could have bought
or go for a 6 item build making it possible to gain about 1200 ap.
I don't know about you but, the old passive was better.
Q: This went from 4 seconds to 3.5. It became her primary way to poison a target as her W became very unreliable.
W: I have a love/hate feeling towards the new W. While she did gain the grounded CC and a massive AOE, the ability became so hard to land that it is almost useless without her ult. On top of that, she lost the ability to cast it in melee range making her extremely vulnerable and dependent on her ult. Bare in mind her ult can be very unreliable.
E: it became spammable and less clunky but lost a massive 20% ap while only gaining about 50 base damage. This took away a lot of DPS for ease of use.
R: If the target is in range and makes any random movement intentional or not, the chances of stunning the target becomes very low. It also became her primary defense mechanism as W was taking out of the equation while remaining unreliable and buggy. This makes Cass vulnerable and the new Q cooldown isn't enough to save her.
So to sum it up, I feel like Cass lost a lot of damage and defense to make up for a new form of CC that hardly ever works.
What do you think?
passive, you get like 1k stacks but you just die 2/3 times in a row and the enemy is left alive with 1 hp and you thought man If I didn't mess up or a team mate baited me, You'd win and wouldn't feel like having a tantrum.
She's just not seen anymore as a good hyper carry anymore, there are far better ones like
that get the job done.
