After 5 years of studying and researching how players play fizz, we've come to a decision
At some point in the game, fizz players find that their kit really promotes overconfidence, and can sometimes misplace themselves in very dire situations when using Playful / Trickster in fights. We've decided to take action against this and tackle this ability appropriately to stop the sloppy ends to games that this can cause.
Playful / Trickster
"Out with the old, in with the new!"
MAGIC DAMAGE: 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 / 270 (+ 75% AP)
~~CHUM THE WATERS-ENHANCED DAMAGE: 84 / 144 / 204 / 264 / 324 (+ 90% AP) ~~
SLOW: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60%
We believe that this is the main problem, Fizz users are tempted to use this ability as a damaging tool rather than as an escape tool, so were removing this entirely. But don't get your hopes down! We added in something to make up for this drastic change.
NEW "No fish is too big for me!" Using Fizz's Playful Trickster now causes the enemy nexus to explode.
Now hold on, we know that this is quite a game changer, but we have also added in something to keep this from getting out of hand
NEW "But at what price?" Destroying the nexus this way does not yield the 50g bonus that destroying it normally would.
We think the have provided an adequate solution, and hope all you dearest summoners and Fizz mains find this change not to be too out of hand. Happy Gaming Summoners!
