Official intermittent patches focused purely on SoloQ
Like every 3 months there should be a solid 2 straight patches that balance purely on SoloQ and would be the best times to Grind LP.
Then you can go back to flashy LCS balance.

Currently they balance around high plat low diamond (because while players are above average good they still make major mistakes) and use pro players as an example of champions being played to their complete potential.
You want them to focus on balancing for gold? Silver? bronze? What balance changes do you expect will be different than what is currently being done?
Champions like shen, kalista, azir might get buffed a little if they don't have to balance for pros but what about diamond and up? Thats still soloque and now those champions are going to be broken. So should we balance for high diamond? Well no because the majority of the game plays at levels way below that. See the dilemma?
