Can Victorious Maokai come with a revert back to his original kit?

Formerly known as I am Maokai, I used to be a Maokai main. This was back when Maokai was one of the most versatile champions in the game, being able to be used optimally as a jungler or a top laner, and a bit less optimally but a lot more fun as an AP mid laner or support. I had even seen games of him being used as the bot lane carry before his rework. Now he's exclusively a top laner. He's passable in the jungle, but there are simply too many better options to make it worthwhile.

I'm not saying he's a horribly weak or strong champion right now, I'm saying he's a horribly boring champion now where he used to be fun. Your rework took all of the enjoyment and thought process from him. Passive and Q are generally the same, but W now does percent max health damage so you've got one build option: tank. E now slows and does very little damage so you've got one build option: tank. R now sticks to you so you've got one option whereas before, you could stick it anywhere around you and be helpful in two places at once. On top of all that, the W range nerf has made it so triggering and giving yourself vision of jungle monsters with E then using W onto them over the wall is incredibly frustrating as the monsters are often out of range too quickly.

Again, I must reiterate, I'm not saying any of this because I want Maokai to be stronger or weaker, I'm saying this because he is no longer fun or versatile and I'd rather him be fun than strong.

Old Maokai was my favorite jungler to play.

It's more that the champion himself isn't fun anymore. Yeah, you can do those things, but they're not nearly as fun as they used to be. The only thing the rework did was make him less fun and kind of cement him into one role, top lane.
