Especially when every adc can just flat out out burst you. When it feels like a lux q does less damage than a mundo cleaver. When all of the meta junglers right now just obliterate mages and so "fuck your skillshots" When supports just shield the auto attackers so even if you do burst them, it doesn't matter. Like god damn. I am not asking for dfg back but id love to be able to do something for once when I play a mage

That has what exactly to do with the fact they can all blow an adc up reliably if they land their "skillshots" (LUL veigar)? If you want to talk about why viktor doesn't see much play now ( sums he uses nerfed, rylais nerf, and orianna does almost everything he does but better with more utility) then go ahead and make a post about that. But you're talking about the burst that mages bring to the table and they do more than enough to delete adcs assume you're actually hitting your skillshot or in veigar case just clicking them.

Remember when we had Will of the Ancients instead of that crappy Catalyst passive to spellvamp and sustain in a fight rather than take 2, 3 shots and die? Or actual mana regeneration? Even potions, once upon a time. Riot's killing mages off to be nothing but supports outside a few token mages and the fact they are fully reworking Swain but letting people like Xin keep their "iconic combo" is another middle finger to any and all mages, period. Frankly, Deathfire Grasp or Will of the Ancients needs to come back!
