People cannot be this bad at this game.
I'm so confused. What's so hard about this game. Honestly. I'm not even a great player by far but are there that few people that just can't grasp the basics of playing against other players?!??!!!?

You'd be surprised, people learn different things at different paces.
Remember your class in a subject, like... let's take math for example. It's simple at first, then gets really difficult, then you look back on what was hard long ago and realize how easy it was (like looking back at algebra when you're in Calculus or something).
It's hard for you to comprehend why other people are bad, but for them they could just be struggling or whatever. Best thing you can do is offer advice or chillax, because there's not much else you can do to control others.
The thing is its not even that. It's simple things like which champions you pick and you dont pick. Or who to focus. This katarina and yasuo first picked for top and mid.
Then they proceed to try and fight while they're low and underfed because they've been hard countered. 3/5 out of 5 of my teammate blew everything on the tank.
And?
It's a simple concept for you that other people don't quite understand. No matter how you cut it to me, I know what you're saying but you're missing my point: YOU understand the basics of this game, THEY do not. And that's okay because eventually they will learn, and if they do not it's not worth getting grey hairs because that's not on you.
Have you studied trigonometric derivative identities? It's hilariously easy to confuse them and get signs mixed up. At least for me, so I need to study calculus a bit more than others to keep up, and that's okay. I put a bit more effort, and nobody minds. But you know? I write as a hobby, and I have a stronger grasp on writing pieces such as essays and reports than my fellow students in second year of studying Engineering at my technical college.
And you know what? None of that matters.
People learn differently and at different paces. It's pretty basic. Besides, this is a video game, you're making way too big of a deal about it. I've had bad games, and games I've fed to hell. Hell, I used to bitch about Riven and then fed with her the first time I played her! And I doubt you're perfect at the game either. I don't want to be an asshole and point out your match history (because I got some dirt on my own too, might as well be honest), but I think you know as much as I do that you have just as much room for improvement like the rest of us.
Yes but the fact is that this is universal basics across every MMO or RPG i've ever played. If you're playing a PvE focused game against mob that has a "Tank", "Support or Controller" and a "DPS". Who are you suppose to try and kill first? Usually the support or the DPS correct? When the mob is focusing your party they'll always try to focus the person who's doing the most healing or dealing the most damage. I already know i'm not the best player out there. I know what I build sometimes isn't the most popular lol I can see that. It works for me. But getting into builds and summoner spells are a lot deeper than what i'm talking about.
The reason why it's pissing me off it's because i'm being grouped with these people in solo que and having my score suffer for it.

Have you ever considered that people don't have the same experience as you?
For some people, this could be their first MMO game. Noobs exist in MMORPs too, with healers that heal themselves and people who focus the tanks instead of the dps or healers. It happens. People are dumb. They need to learn.
I'm sorry you're being matched with these people, but you do need to understand that people have plenty of reason to plainly suck at this game. It's not your fault, nor should you overly worry about it.
I understand that but I should not be seeing that kind of fuckery with people gold and higher
Sometimes people are better than others :V
And sometimes people go on Ebay.
You never know.
like people who go support and don't buy sightstone

"I'm not even a great player by far..."
so what's so hard about this game? how can you not grasp the basics of playing against other players?
sightstone is absolute core on supports.
Atleast he upgraded his trinket, 4/10 of them didn't 44 mins into the game.......thats sad.
Suports dont always need a sightstone, i dont get it on karma or lux, i get
Instead.
bro you're bronze 5
sightstone is required on supports
Arguable
bro you're bronze 4
lol trust and believe from a plat support main
sightstone is an absolute requirement on supports
yes you can win in bronze without it
and with completely non-meta picks
doesn't mean it's viable

bro you're bronze 5
sightstone is required on supports
i love how my rank a anything to do with this. I love people that base a persons knowledge on a rank because they dont know that there are factors like Trolls and lagg and not playing ranked in like 3 months, but ok, sure, whatever you say bro.
Sighstone is used for wading, but why buy an item that is taking up space when a Totem does the same thing for less. if i want the health, ill get an item that gives me health and some more usefull stats, like AP or Armour. the moment i actually Use sigstones, is when i play tanks that the health is actually beneficial to me, like alistar or blitzcrank or tahm. Why waste it on a Mage like Lux, karma, kayle, soraka and sona when there are items that do more on them. And since you're platinum, i would have thought that you are smart enough to know that the game adapts, and just because 1 item is usually used on a lane, it doesn mean that it Belongs to that place. when i jungle with lee sin, i take the sighstone, but if i support with a champ that its wasted on, i take an item that benefits me, because i ADAPT to the situation. an btw, Wardind i the teams job, not the supports, taking a sighstone makes the other teamates fight at you because you have 3 wars out but they want 7, if they want wards, they should ward themselves, not wait for me to do it.
go on probuilds.net
find supports
find one without a sightstone
I won't hold my breath because you're not going to be able to do it
when 100% of pros build it on every support every game, it means to do it
going ward totem also removes your ability to sweep, meaning you are giving up vision control
and yeah your rank is relevant because it shows the type of competition you are going against. BFD if you're bronze, except your paradigm is games against other bronze players. When you play games against plat and diamonds like I do, you have a different perspective.
Go ahead and don't build sightstone but don't try to spread bullshit noob ass propaganda that it is not a required item on any support of any reasonable level of competence.
trust me people suck at this game if they didnt there would be no rank below diamond
it's like driving a car. Simple concept with complicated nuances. And like driving it usually takes a few accidents to learn how the fuck to do it.
