Prophecies - Edition 5
Going back through the boards, and pulling out excerpts from various threads over the years. Why? Because I just want to laugh, and say 'Told you so.' Every year or so I spend a few months on the boards and go silent again, mostly just to say what I want to say and let people downvote away, and come back the next year and do it again. This will be the 5th year in a row. So:

Since 2011, on the boards, this has been the basic treatment of the RIOT Dev Staff at the hands of this ever-worsening community. Yet people wonder why RIOT rarely responds now, does not work through player made design concepts anymore, and basically ignores you people? I'd ignore most of you too. Admittedly ignores most people on the boards anyway.
Why are there so many trending topics right now about how RIOT no longer listens to the boards? Huh. No clue. Eitherway, downvoted to oblivion at the time.
What, instead, you should be asking for, as opposed to your pet champion being buffed (mine is TF... promised a rework six damn years ago)? It is for rebalancing between similar champions. Why does Darius beat out Garen? Higher flat damage, while still being as tanky... with a short range hard CC and a reusable ult. That'd be it. Garen has a single target shut down, and operates like a bruiser... a class of champion that has been slowly killed through reworks.
In Conclusion
Ask for balancing, not buffing. Buffing ends painfully for everyone.
Dammit RIOT why are all the champions doing insane damage, and the popular ones are the ones doing the most?! OH. Good thing that one of the trending topics right now is that RIOT should stop buffing the bad champions, and nerf the broken ones.
So, it seems to me that despite ALL of the complaining about AD Carries, Tanks not being tough enough, and mages who formerly could sway battles being relegated to nothing more than supports (who suck as Support comparitively, as they were not designed for the role), really boils down to a simple statement:
Damage has gotten out of control - something that the original Dev team worried about extensively - and has shifted the sway of League of Legends completely into a realm that, seemingly, very few enjoy.
Was told that I don't know how the game works, repeatedly.

- Assassin Meta
I swear about four years ago it was stated that the Assassin Meta was a mistake, and precautions would be taken to ensure that this never happened again - as it rendered almost every other champion type in the game useless. Well...
This was TWO DAMNED YEARS AGO. It's only gotten worse.
You people enjoy your circle jerk for yet another year. I will be moving right back to Reddit until the end of this year, when you can all insult me, call me names, and enjoy your self masturbation again after I return - and see you complaining about the shit I said a year before, and start posting with yet a different name.
