this is a SKIN, not a "buff"

so when she DOES come out.. she isn't suddenly going to be "OP" just because you don't know how to face her. its a SKIN.. NOT a buff..

so this is my early warning.. DON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT HER BEING OP!!!

if she isn't OP NOW, and nothing is done to her balance.. then she wont OP be when the skin releases.

(unless you are going to complain that your getting teammates who bought the skin can't play her, because i know that's going to happen)

the skin itself not, but theoretically the large environmental changes to the game that come with the preseason can either buff her or nerf her.

my guess is it will be the latter.

It comes up twice in long team fights.

Oh my god, I am so glad I will not be playing ranked when this skin comes out, Lux is the one champion in the game that just hardcore tilts me for no single reason.

It feels like she is always fed on the enemy team and I always feed with her when I play her.

Yasuo skins are actually nerfs, funny enough. All the shitters come out whenever a new skin is released and then slowly dissipate until mostly Yasuo mains are left.

Her ult cd is ridiculous. I think Ezreal treatment would be great on her. Lux's ult cd overall increased but each (passive) illumination proc reduces the cd by a few seconds.

Cd from 80 / 65 / 50 sec to 90 / 80 / 70 sec and illumination procs on minions and monsters reduce the cd by 1.5 second and against champions 3 seconds.

Goals:

Rewards aggressive play
Reduced roaming window

The skin looks amazing and I would definitely play her more if I had it... too expensive though.

Funny part is if you look, Lux is actually in an OK spot (Minus Mana costs on her E but eh) balance wise.

I absolutely hate Lux now and think she is way too strong, but that's just my salt. I am also a firm believer that Lux of of all champions shouldn't have been next in line for an ultimate skin, especially since she has so many skins already.

Probably what most people do, the squishy deleting combo. Most mages have one though, the only reason I complain about Lux's is because it's technically safer than most, in fact I've seen a lot of Lux players throw the snare, walk away, then realize it actually hit before doing the whole combo. Just feels like the window is pretty big.

Sorry I meant low cooldown for a slow par to nasus w, a snare, and an ult that does >70% of your HP

Well if you're playing an AP carry mid lane you can't really afford to build Banshee's. You can build an Abyssal Scepter, but most mid lanes need to build some damage in order to be relevant, or at least aid the team.

What is this sandbox mode? Where did the other 0-25 minutes go? I'm not talking about finally reaching the window of opportunity to not die instantly, it matters how she does all game. Safety and power are the same things people chastise ADC's for, it is less interactive for a higher reward than most with shorter range get.

I find her range too long to interact with for many champs. Her snare can go through a minion and still hit you, unlike Morgana's Q and stuff like Blitz's hook, which is very powerful...possibly too powerful given the snare's duration and long range.

Reduce the range of Lux's Q and force her to get closer to me so I can actually interact with her and I'll stop feeling like she's a BS safe champ.

Let's take in account her 100-0 burst and high range into account as well. As gap closing champions have linear gap closers it'll be easy to hit them with a q and if they DO jump onto you you can pop Zhonyas which will allow you to stay In stasis until your abilities are back up and you can W for an extra safety blanket. Not to mention your teammates that'll help you when you get gapclosed on. (Unless you just got caught out like a bonobo. In this case it doesn't matter who you play)

I say either reduce her E slow by a shit ton, increase cooldowns, or decrease the range on her snare a slight bit

i don't think it needs a buff but rather to be able to control how far it goes out (i think you used to be able to), that way if you want it to return faster and stack the shield faster but have the shield wear off sooner.. you can
