Riot, why are our Keystone Masteries not placed in the HUD like this?!

Its been bothering me for a long time how we had to press TAB every time we wanted too see our keystones. This just makes thing so much simpler.

IMO we should be able to see the pick of allies' keystones too before the loading screen,

Can call out people who have left their previous game masteries on and forget to change it so we dont get stuff like windspeaker ADCs

You know your keystone at the start of the game, why would you need to constantly know what it is?

Warlord Scrap1 votes

it could help for some like tld to show which hit your on of cotc to show its cooldown without being out in left field

The cooldowns show on your buffs bar and you can see the stats when you hit tab to pull up the scoreboard

Warlord Scrap1 votes

on the complete other side of the rest of your cooldowns im just saying its not absolutely the worst idea considering mana regen and health regen are on your ability bar twice

That's not comparable. They are already there in a fitting, unobtrusive place. They are not carving out a chunk out from valuable screen estate for no use because its something you would already know. It is the worst idea on this topic.

It shows its cooldown already, and you just count when you hit them 3 times

Just to calculate stats, see how strong it currently is etc...

Sometimes people alternate between TLD and DFT, and when poking it'll change how you act around structures.

You know if you should have tld or dft before the game starts

Because some Keystones have numbers that update as the game progresses. Most of them do, actually. FoB, TLD, DFT, Grasp, CotC, and I'm not sure about Stoneborne Pact. That's still almost half of the Keystones. It would make calculating whether you would have enough damage for an all in a lot easier when trying to account for Keystone damage as well, not to mention you could see the cooldown much easier if it was treated like a second passive on the HUD

Stoneborn pact does not have any level scaling, its only scaling is a percentage of your max health. It is also worth mentioning that the cooldowns of TLD and CotC decrease as you gain levels.

Personally, I would prefer having a display similar to spectate mode.

I want the option to see allied cooldowns for Summoner Spells, Keystone Masteries and ultimates next to their portrait and health/mana bars.

Pressing tab or left-clicking an ally isn't always convenient.

Several. 1. It's cluttered. 2. Why on Earth would you need to see your own Keystone? 3. HUDs are used to display the most vital of information that is important for the player to know immediately, which does not describe the keystone 4. Why on Earth would you need to see your own Keystone? Seriously. It does nothing but take up screen space for the sake informing the player of something he is already aware of. Even in the situation where somehow someone forgot which keystone they picked out for the match, I do not see how it's possible that they would be able to forget which one it was in the two minutes since they hit tab. It's clutter and it's counterproductive to the efforts of Riot redesigning the HUD.

well but why?

you usually know what keystone you have taken, if not, you just have to press TAB for half a second once to check.

the only advantage i would see is displaying the CD of it there, but it gets shown in the buff bar anyway.
