As it is, Blitzcrank doesn't really benefit much from the attack speed increase, but is hurt plenty by the self-slow. The self-slow is kind of antiquated, added at a time when they didn't give every new release and rework a dash. So even asking that it simply be reverted would be fair. But if he must lose something to get the slow removed, he'd be fine without the AS.
DerMangoJoghurt1 votesI'd argue the self-slow is important to make the threat of him windowed. If he uses the speed up to fish for a grab, but doesn't manage to find one in time, he should not be able to continue repositioning as easily.
The Ecdysiast1 votesBut... repositioning for what? He won't have another hook up. Like I said, he was just fine originally without the slow, and even at his strongest didn't really warrant such a heavy nerf. At best they should've just reduced the movement speed amount.
But now, when everyone has the option to be faster regardless of champion, and so many more champions have dashes, it doesn't belong.
