The state of shyvana

Shyvana has always been one of the cooler champs in the game imo...but it seems she's found herself in a strange state, with her AP OFF meta build becoming her meta build....does this not bother anyone?

Yes, though she was in a recent poll of potential reworks, because farming is no longer viable for her and she's falling off because of it.

And to add what annoyes me the most: Her "new" passive is trash. I dont even get why they removed her old one but this one is just terribly teamdependant and that really sucks.

What are you talking about? Both of her build is viable, if you are fighting ap shyvana then you are getting disrespected and cheese upon. One is a cheese build while the other is a splitpushing build.

It isn't really a split-pushing build. It is more of a raid boss build. You don't really have the power to split push as much as you become a back-line brawler since you opt into auto-attack magic shred when you go on-hit.

The real problem is that at lower ELOs most players don't understand that you can't push lane when you have a Shyvana on your team because she spends most of the time farming and invading. So usually one or more of your lanes feed the enemy jungler/laners.

Ad shyvana is clearly out of favor since 90% of her builds are ap in higher elo, and to be honest with good reason, her dragon form along with gunblade + Ravenous hunter gives her an obnoxious amount of survivability, forcing you to focus her, and even then typically when she dives in she can kill at least 1 carry on the spot with her 150% ap ratio E and 100% ap ratio ult (additionally to add injury to insult, she also tends to build nashors tooth, meaning her AA's still hurt)
