I just want the old league of legends back, the one i could actually play...the amount of change this game has had...i cant play it anymore...simply playing a game makes me want to punch my computer screen with the combination of

poor gameplay design
lack of balance
toxicity
snowball mechanics no game has ever brought me to the point where i just break down...i keep starting a game with the false hope it was just a bad game...riot you have a talent at making games that are truly soul crushing...games have pissed me off, but never have they ever brought me to the point where i just dont know what to do...where my whole body breaks down and just stops...it just hurts all over at this point... Edit: the only upside is the art has improved...but at what cost....

Dude, I think you need a break. Playing continuously will only detriment your health. So take some time to breathe, eat, take a dump, stretch and sleep.

Also, old League may not come back, but you will always have the memories, right?

Dunno why this post is downvoted. This dude is right. If u feel stressed playing this game, make a break. If u cant, u are addicted and no one can help u, just you. I agree with topic that game is fckd a bit and that's why i reduced my games per day/month to rly rly few and I don't take this game serious anymore. And yes, Im also "veteran" so I can understand ur "pain". Just let it go, calm down and be hoping that game will get better. It works, u have my word. And find another MOBA if u like LoL. League is not really the best moba right now. I would suggest u Smite. Same things. U can play both of games of course. One of reason why I play other moba game is not to forget moba mechanics, macro/micro etc. and practice them more before I will "back" to League.

yeah, I got so frustrated today that I uninstalled. I may comeback mid season and see if things have improved. I doubt they will. I'm only logging on to see all the people in the thread I made tell me how wrong I am.

game isn't even close to being balanced.

matchmaking - not balanced. champs - not balanced. runes - not balanced.

It feels like the game doesn't want you to win anymore. You're just supposed to lose. And if you can carry your team of 4 feeders you can be silver. It feels like there is no difference between challenger-plat skill. If you can carry you can win. There's no in between when your entire team feeds.

Funny thing is while true it doesn't feel that way for a tank. Resolve tree adds limited durability especially compared to what was available on the old version and because it's geared towards everyone the individual runes aren't even as good for those would take it main tree.

Aftershock is pretty strong, but then there are some tanks with only slows who can't even use it (like Malphite who should want the armor) and instead is being used by normally squishy champions who have crowd control (Lissandra being the biggest offender).

The other huge problem with the Resolve tree is the majority of the durability it provides comes from stacking health with Overgrowth and it's both slow and inefficient (and at the cost of any of the other runes in that row). The second best durability option in the tree is Conditioning that doesn't come online in any shape until 10 minutes.

Essentially if you want to be a tank you need to wait ten minutes and farm a lot, and then you get a little bit of durability, which is immediately erased by everyones built in true damage and conqueror and cleaver.

Fun times.

How did lethality ruin the game? Like i sometimes wonder if we played different games or something when i read comments like this.

Armorpen was STRONGER THAN LETHALITY. ARMOR PEN WAS SO BUSTED THAT JAYCE WOULD ACTUALLY 100-0 AN ADC WITH JUST A LONG RANGE EQ.

There is more lethality now so it scales A LITTLE BIT better into the lategame but overall lethality is WEAKER than ARMORPEN.

Honestly, this game isn't even a little fun anymore. On occassion I jump in for some Nexus Blitz, and that's it. I've played 5 games in total the last 14 days. I used to play that many games almost daily. So League is pretty much dead to me at this point. Riot showed me their finger so I'm showing them mine as well. Even BF5 is a better game than this dog shit pile of garbage that League has been intentionally turned into.

Let the game rot guys. Let's give some room for another company to make a MOBA who hopefully won't convert their game from gold into dirt.

There is a new korean MOBA called Ascendant One. Graphics are really fucking good, and the gameplay is set in sci-fi environment. Hopefully we get an English release, as right now is an early access in Korean.

Yeah...yeah. For me, Season 3-6 were amazing. Then 7-8 hit and it's all just been...downhill from there. A combination of matchmaking and toxicity is what's killing me. I'm thinking of just quitting altogether because this game does not facilitate a positive environment.

I don't feel quite that strongly about it, but it hurt a little bit when they said turret plating had solved the game length problem.

No... the game length problem was caused by heavy snowballing mechanics and towers going down faster was just part of that along with the nerfs they gave them from previous seasons.

Giving another way for your enemy laner to gain free gold that you don't have much control over to artificially extend the game timer is not succeeding at the intended goal.

You can need to back early from being in a bad match up, jungle pressure, being against a tough opponent. Now when that happens they get free gold on top of it.

Could have just literally added the plates, made them not as strong, but made them last forever until broken. Would have still increased the outer tower defense without all the extra issues. So, when they were like, oh yeah that totally worked the way we wanted it to... that hurt.

Especially because I like the concept of League and the characters, but the way game plays right now is like a bad version of HOTS where everything is objective centric and snowball. Those were the same reasons I don't play that game hardly at all, and now it has come to League.

Oh well, got back into Xcom 2 again recently. Trying an Ironman Legend Run. Really difficult, but I'm learning a lot from it.

You guys should play Jungle. It's not so frustrating because you have not to play directly versus an unbalanced enemy. It's more the macro game. Pick some Bruiser Jungler who can't get killed in one combo and you will have fun again.

Yes lol has toxic players in some games, but it was always like that, since season 1. Did you just notice that now? If you can't handle that, you should play other games. Also... I have many games where my laners praise me and honor me after game.
