I feel his wind wall is too good at choking out ranged champs at times making them utterly useless in fights, I believe wind wall should be in fact used to block important things like veigar ult. jihn ult, jinx w, but it should have hp aswell to prevent your adc from being useless for 5 seconds or having to be in a poor position of aa, imo it should start with 2 hp, scale to 3 at rank 3, and 4 at rank 5

I think they should just lower the length, so its a good reactionary tool good yasuos can use, but doesnt block off an entire team's damage for 5 seconds.

They want it to be a tool to force repositioning, and making it breakable presents players with gameplay options that Riot doesn't want. It would be like if you could break Olaf's CC immunity of his ult if you hit him with enough CC; it provides unclear gameplay for Olaf's opponent and unclear value for Olaf himself. Not to mention that it would make his wall practically useless against things like MF ult which it is explicitly designed to counter.

there is a precedent for these types of nerfs. when a champion isnt doing above average but is just very annoying to play against, riot nerfs it until they remake it. like old eve. she wasnt obscenely overpowered with her stun, but riot took it away because people found it very annoying to play against.

i dont want to make the same crucial mistake of going the ad hominem route in a debate.
im just pointing out that when people find someone frustrating to play against, the precedent is to nerf the champion even if the win rate is below average. i dont particularly feel either way about yasuo because i never played against a yasuo, since i quit league before he was in existence. again, you are just taking my stating of previous facts as my personal opinion. Anyway, if people keep complaining about his windwall it doesnt matter who loves him, he will be nerfed. just like eve was way back in s2. she wasnt an issue win rate wise, and wasnt even an issue in high mmr, but she just wrecked low mmr and new players.

Leagueofgraphs show around the same numbers as both of them as well, so that's 3 different sites showing more or less the same numbers. Where did you find 54%?

Shuyin1785 votesWhile I'm not one of the people on the "YASUO'S OP NERFNERFNERFNERFNERFNERF" train, I do think his Windwall should have a limit to the number of nullified attacks. So instead of being able to target the wall, it just loses 1 HP with every hit it nullifies. In-lane this change wouldn't really do to much because how how slow it takes a ranged champion to break through it. By the time they'd throw 3 attacks (going off of the original post's Hp numbers for lane phase) the wall would pretty much be gone (except for multi-hitting spells like Syndra's and MF's ults). Later in the game however, during teamfights is where this nerf would come into play, making it so you can't just perfectly block everything with just a single button click. It could still be used the same as now with reaction W's, but can't just block off all ranged attacks if your team focus fires through it.

Xavanic1 votesnah, he has a 49 win rate partially because he has a 16% pick rate for both top and mid, same reason alot of other champs have low win rates, if they remove some of the power from his overloaded w, it can be placed elsewhere in his kit, meaning he could become more consistent and easier to play against, as it currently is, you need a malzahar, zyra or amumu to counter him out after 30 min or he will go down while taking at least 2 people with him
