Just so we're clear, this will change if NB becomes permanent. There will certainly be some champs better than others. That said, I think the mode is so goofy/fun that nobody actually cares about meta. (Or, if you care so much to tryhard in NB, maybe you need a hug.)

Yeah that's understandable but one thing that's really fun about NB is that we're all just trying to enjoy ourselves before some kind of meta gets put in place. I know he just got buffed and all, but it's only on Nexus Blitz where you'll see a level one Galio get a double kill first blood with his "Big Smash ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" Passive while fighting over red buff with two "Real Junglers". I know eventually the meta will start to creep in and that will be a little less possible but before that happens just have fun. [galio-happy]

look at urf, people went out of their way to establish lists of the best champs for it

I don't get it. Queue times dont change by any measurable degree for me with these modes out and they're often more fun than SR.

Meaningful strategy is just a joke to mock as the assassins and fighters struggle to see who can get a pentakill.

Well since assassins have been a mostly dead class for nearly a year after riot decided adc's needed to be the op class (i dont give a shit what anyone says, they need to be gutted not buffed, people crying adcs are too weak are just shit, their already ranged fighters at this point) ive wanted a mode where i could actually play an assassin and not worry about being useless for 25 min because bot lane fed 30 kills in the first 5 min (its usually only 10, but feels like 30 against op adc's)

Caster supports are exponentially better than juggernauts on Ascension, along with champions with vision mechanics like Nid, Teemo, Maokai and Shaco.

Nexus Blitz is bound & planned to be a permanent mode in the future if the mode is a successful & popular hit.
And I don't really see any benefits in Team Builder compared to the Draft Pick we have now.

That's...honestly the point of the mode being Beta now. The mode's not 100% completed. It would probably take a few more months before they make the final decision.

All matches are finished in under 20 minutes GUARANTEED because of the Sudden Death mechanic. This frees them up to once again pull back some of the crazy damage from SR and make THAT mode more about skill and cooperative play. They have a mode that caters to the Internet Cafe audience in the east, and a mode that caters to the longer, drawn out, more room for outplay audience in the west.

DoktorKaiser1 votesOn one hand it can be fun as hell, on other hand there is absolutely a meta, half the champions are literally insta-lost if picked and the matchmaking is so bad that I have had maybe 2-3 close games out of 50 played, most of them have been stomps to the point where enemies surrender after 7-8 minutes.

just add some more mini games to benefit the weaker ones, additionally individual tweaking could always been done as a separate mode for champs too dominant
