It's really frustrating to see another "quick gameplay thoughts" or a PBE update with no mention of buffs for Volibear

They've talked about Darius, Ivern, Camille and a few other champions about how they're struggling with the new runes. What about Volibear guys, a champion who's been struggling for the past couple seasons and who currently isn't even played enough to show data on OP.gg? Why isn't he being mentioned at all? He's also struggling with the new runes because he's not able to take attackspeed unless he goes down the squishy precision tree.

If you really don't want to spend the time to look at what small changes Volibear needs to be relevant then at least buff his scalings.

Just do something until his rework.

Riot normally doesn't buff/nerf champions that are up for a rework in the near future, so my guess would be that he is most likely being worked at the moment, and could be the next one after the already presented swain, Aatrox and Irelia reworks.

Buffing his stats won't really help him much, he is just to easy to get kitted. Buffing his stats will just make him a monster in low Elo games where people try to facetank him.

I hope this isn't true. They said that they want to bring some lighthearted champions in the reworks from time to time, since they shouldn't always go with the dark ones.

So I hope the next rework is either Rammus or Nunu . The next rework should be a jungler (applies to Volibear), but Volibear has a dark theme.

Urgot Evelynn Swain Irelia these are all different levels of dark or edgy.....

Rammus already got reworked, and Nunu got a minirework. Volibear has not been touched for a while.

Rammus just got a "minirework" as well, he is still on the tier 1 list for a VGU.

And it got stated that these minireworks are not influencing the order in which champions get reworked at all. Swain got some changes in the mage update as well, yet he is still the next champion in line for the VGU.

Trick2g seems to be doing pretty with Voli. I don't have much experience with the champ, but from what I've seen he seems pretty decent.

i mean there is also an ex challenger voli onetrick on euw (SirBerlinStyle) or ex master im not too sure actually but he's currently struggling in around mid diamond the last time i watched his stream. You will always have these players who are really good on a champ but volibear in general is just in such a pitiful state tbh.

Until he gets a new passive at the very least, he's going to stay in that trash bin. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's one of the most toxic passives in the game.

Not with all the grevious wounds. It's actually one of the most lackluster passives in the game, especially compared to newer champs. It's not toxic because it can basically be ignored for 800-1000 gold.

He needs a full-scale rework; simply running at a snail's pace towards a champ doesn't cut it anymore

Hard to tell as Trick is half the time trolling in low elo. Doubt he's using Voli much in ranked play. Just not worth it. New runes were a nerf to Voli as well.

@thread What if rolling thunder passively gave volibear movement speed towards enemy champions and on active made him unstoppable until his first basic attack or the effect ends?
