I've posted my concerns about Talon since his rework because 650 unit blink behind opponent was nerfed to 550 unit face check dash destroyed his laning power for my playstyle.

Coming to the boards trying to get RIOT's perspective for clarity to understand these changes has been a waste of time. As an ex level 7 talon mid main (now I primarily use Nocturne) who used to rack up pentakills to a person who picks Talon, feeds and causes his team to lose consistently, I really need to learn how to use new Talon because I still like him and his kit (even with the significant gap closing nerf).

Basically, I think I can enjoy my mid lane main again if I learn how to win lane with him again. I get rekt by matchups that used to be effortless.

Spectating is all I'm asking for, but I wouldn't mind some 1v1 coaching (especially against Veigar) since I no longer have a way to get around his arena.

Talon just feels so lame now. Like he's got his high moments but it usually comes from my opponent being WAY worse than me. I feel like I have no options 1v1 if my opponent is competent and I have to basically abandon lane because I have no real control over whether or not I win.

If you go to op.gg and search up talon you can find high elo players that main talon, or join the Talon group i'm in for full on talon discussions. Otherwise you could just make a post asking for a revert, or range buff in your final moments if you still can't handle him.
