English is not my native language but i hope you will understand. Morde ES NUMER UNO .. always in my heart. But His core item was DFG + R combo. Now when You gonna remove that I hope you gonna look at his spells. I know I UNDERSTAND they are not skill shots and they are not easy or at all counter able.

you can at least LOWER HP SKILL costs right ?

I have no idea how to help him when you gonna remove his Core Item from game , but I know for sure his HP cost are too HIGH . BTW there is always room to boost his pasive shield ?

Mordekaiser needs to be looked at anyway... but his costs are only harsh early game so i don't see how DFG removal would affect it.

I also find myself not building it favoring other things and still being capable of doing more than well.

This item has been around and changed since December 2, 2009 when it was re-added after being removed in another like patch.

Mordekaiser who's been around since 2-24-2010 after the DFG has been around hasn't had any effect on his health numbers so not sure why you would want health number changes when DFG never effected that.

Its about compensation.

Doesnt matter if DFG effects that, he will need some sort of buffs for when DFG gets removed. Anything to keep him viable.

Might I suggest giving his Q a slow for multiple targets and a short stun for a isolated Q?

How would that make any sort of change regarding the removal of DFG?

No. Mordekaiser should not have any cc. That would ruin him thematically.

He is the only champion in the game without any kind of build in CC or Movement speed buffs. That's him.

I think it's about time they redesigned Dark Lord Pizza Feet from the ground up.

I'd rather not have that happen. He is actually viable right now. However, he will need compensation once DFG gets removed.

His HP costs imo arent that bad. Buffing that wouldnt do too much. Certainly wouldnt balance out losing dfg.

His damage is gonna need buffs. No doubt.

They could also buff his passive. Even his movement speed.

health costs are great on morde and actually provide a slight amount of balance to his strong lane bully playstyle . Laning phase has always been morde's strength with low cooldown harass and extremely strong trades. Removing these will not compensate for the mid/late game power dfg gives morde . Seeing that morde only deals damage and provides no utility (unless he kills someone with his ult) his mid to late game revolves around insta-bursting the unlucky soul who face-checks or attempts to duel him. So with the removal of dfg he needs either increased ratios or change to his damage (ie ult acts like swain e amplifying his damage to the target) so he can still kill people. Morde is my secondary main and with the removal of dfg im not even sure he is worth playing anymore unless he gets decent compensation for the loss.

I will honestly be surpised if they even touch mordekaiser in the 5.2 notes. i would love for him to get buffs to compensate for the removal of dfg, but knowing riot they will just ignore him until they do a full update on him. But dont worry they will update Ahri kit AGAIN......
