what makes you think that? he's got stupid amounts of sustain, BASICALLY a feral flare after clearing 5-6 camps, a point and click ult which can 0-100 people right off the bat at level 6 before QSS is even an option(which doesn't even negate damage) therefore making it almost a 100% guarantee for a kill on ganks, and just all around perfect synergy with new jungle and new jungle items?

do i even need to mention his massive pick/ban/win rates? he's basically this season's kassadin, except with a LOWER skillcap.

I say let Warwick shine. He's been unloved since the beginning of season 2. I'd rather see him than Lee Sins everywhere. I was getting sick of hearing HEEKOO!!! for 3 years straight.

Warwick was unloved?

Dude, he was already popular during Season III when the Swagmaste started picking him during the LCS.

And his win rate went from 48% to 54/55% when Feral Flare was released during Season IV.

People were just too fucking busy doing the Godyr shit that they forgot about him.

He is the most braindead champ in the league. It gets even more annoying when he is the strongest aswell.

Warwick didn't get that massive pick/ban/win rate until after the new item came out, before that, he sat at bout 50%, the item is broken or the item with how he currently plays is broken, not him.

Champion does basically fine for several years

New item is released, Champion is now broken

Perhaps there were some inherent problems to that champ, but more than likely... Item is broken

Five procs of magic damage and true damage. It's not as massive as people think, but it's a pretty noticable increase in damage.

Warwick breaks strong on-hit items. Has a strong AS steroid and his ult procs on-hits extremely quickly.

Same thing as with feral flare. He's not naturally broken. Actually he's naturally harmless; his kit is super uninteresting.

I remember when warwick was one of te first champions I tried out to learn jungle and found it so easy. Then touched up on him again when feral flare came out and used him a lot. Haven't tried him yet but have seen people use him with the new jungle items and I will agree he might be a bit too overpowered with these items but like how others have said it's probably the item itself and not the champion!

Neither Warwick nor the items added are OP. Its the combination of both that make an unstoppable solution. Play Warwick without using Sabre or Devourer. He's just as good as any other jungler. Use Sabre or Devourer with another champion. They are completely balanced. It is the combination of both that makes it OP. Warwick isn't broken, the item isn't broken, but the combination is broken.

A Feral Flare that you don't need to wait for? You don't need to farm up to? Do you realize they had to INCREASE the number of stacks for evolving because FF was in fact OP? Now that you no longer have to earn it, it's just a cheap buy, it's most undoubtedly OP. Matter-of-fact, Devourer is probably even more OP than Feral Flare was on release. The balance team screwed the pooch on this one.

It's true. While Warwick benefits more from it than most, all attack speed, on-hit junglers benefit greatly from Devourer, and in terms of raw stats it is drastically better than the other jungler items. Which is of course why it is being nerfed.

The increase to the number of stacks needed was a bad call and wasn't the right balancing choice. Decreasing the on hit heal and including kills and assists towards feral stacks was the right choice. What made FF so strong when it came out was it's healing, Devourer doesn't have that.

I've fought many of them lately, he's really not that bad.

Hint: stop being squishies, and even if you are, get more defenses.

But for all the whiners, incoming nerfs just hit the PBE

Infinite Duress (R) total damage reduced to 200/275/300 damage from 250/335/420
Infinite Duress (R) lifesteal gained during duration increased to 35% from 30%

My experience is based on a Riven against a Laning Smite + Knife WW.

He forced me retreat on CD and killed me twice under tower while I was at more than 60% hp.

Also, where is the balance in "stop playing squishies"? It's like I'm telling you "stop playing Mages against Zed".

Broken means that something is not functioning as intended, aka a bug. Skirmisher/Devourer was a big upgrade for WW this season, but both of those are getting nerfed. Honestly, I'm just hoping this coaxes Riot to try and get his rework back on track and out the door this year.
