"im not good at support"
oh but you're good at pointing out what other supports do wrong and telling other people what they should do

typical vayne player
Excuses made by people who dont wanna play it.
Haha I love support. Thresh is king. Support can carry.
Support isn't that hard. You harass the enemy team, protect the carries, and ward the map. You don't have to worry about farming at all. You can carry from support by setting up your team to get fed or win teamfights.
Pick's hard engage support. Goes in, no follow up from ADC. Gets killed 2v1 ADC complains that I won't let her farm in peace. (Brilliant idea to give the enemy hypercarry a passive lane) Gets Mobi boots and starts to roam. And only then do they miss having an XP leach tagging along with them.

ADC mains only know what they want their support to do for them. And not, "What that support want's to do." Bullys want harass and all in potential. Hyper carries want to keep the lane passive as possible. Yet, If I first pick someone like Bard, the ADC, better be someone I don't have to babysit.
I main support. I never get tired of landing thresh hooks and bringing enemies to their doom
"Here's the problem: we've given this name, ADC. Attack Damage Carry. Nigga in lane, YOU AIN'T CARRYIN' SHIT. Without my wards, Without my pings, my slows, without my exhaust, without my stun. You ain't shit."

support will always be a multipliyer
if your team is good and the support is good then the team is even better if your team is good but the support sucks then things get hard if the team sucks and the support is great is like multipliying for 0 nothing the support can do
That's not possible, support is the easiest role.
How can one be bad at letting themselves get carried?
EDIT:
Sweet mother of God, I never thought this thread would stay alive so long. Sorry for my rude comment, I posted it feeling like I was on GD.
Thanks to the guys who bothered sticking up for me, and glad to see shitposting (commenting?) is not tolerated outside GD.
Just show him the video of aphromoo teaching the basics of presence and stuff.
I always find the whole "if you're not good, you cannot judge" thing to be off. One may know how something is done but can easily be inexperienced or simply unskilled at actually doing it. If there is something the person doesn't understand, than you simply tell them why what they're saying is wrong (without calling them stupid because that never helps). It can only make them a better player (unless they don't listen :P)
So the real question is whether or not the person in question is constructive and not distracting themselves from the game.
I love playing support, and most of my mains are that role. I'm not as aggressively competitive as many players seem to be and like the feeling of helping. The role of support is tricky because it's easy to play support, but hard to support well until you get used to it. I've been in games with people like you've described and it's irritating but I just try to take whatever criticism they have, learn from it if I can, and ignore the negativity. Yes, in some cases I feel that the support is under appreciated but every now and then when someone acknowledges your work and says "Good Job" it brightens your day!
My Supports:

You don't need to know how to fly a plane to tell a pilot that he's bad when he crashes on a runway. Granted, I understand that supports are often under-appreciated. As a occasional support myself, I can attest that bot lane is mostly a skill match up between the supports until the ADCs get their ultimates and core items.
It's one thing to know what to do. It's another to actually be capable of executing it. Please stop confusing the two as the same thing.
A cripple can still make for a great sports analyst and know exactly what the players should and shouldn't do. Doesn't mean he can do it himself though.
I don't need to be a master chef to know the food tastes like shit.
The truth tea is especially strong today.
Soloqueue support mains are my heroes. I am not a bot lane main. When I have to adc, the difference between a mediocre support and a great support takes the lane from being difficult to being a slaughterfest for our side.
Support is pretty much the most important thing to learn. Being that if you don't get your role, then you may be most likely to get support. People who don't want to learn sup or who troll their last pick are those players who will be forever bronze, but I can't talk too much as I'm only silver D:<
Yes. It's much easier to point out a mistake you've made than to actually play the character. I can call mistakes that professional athletes make, it doesn't make me a professional athlete.
Typical support main.
some people can't support, i have just an instinct for CS'ing so I often take a lot of cs when i support and it makes adc rage and afk a lot. So me supporting is not a good idea.
