If you tone down her damage but do not touch her utility/CC, Camille would make for a good support

I currently play her more as a SUP rather than TOP or JG because she has a great kit designed for a protective yet offensive support. Her E can be used to intercept dives and engages from ganks while also being able to make picks. Her W is a good peel with its slow for when you are against champions like Hecarim. The ult can be used in the same way as her E. To peel, counter dives, small amounts of CC, etc...

Her damage is just a bit too high though so you end up taking the kill often. While that isn't the worst outcome, it is better to actually have the ADC get some kill gold too lol.

They've already toned her down and that has been part of the reason she's being seen in the support role to begin with. She not as strong as she was in top or jungle, but still capable in those roles but now she has another one she can excel in since you aren't counting on the damage as much compared to solo lane trades. It still isn't as oppressive as a Brand or Zyra who have more upfront burst. Overall, I think it's good where it's at.

Really? I thought it was because of how she was played in the Support role in the NA LCS.

She needs more than just number nerfs.

Like what? Her kit functionality seems OK to me.
