Why is Riot releasing another champion with a Pet (Ivern)?

When they still haven't even fixed the pet AI for any of the other champions (Annie, Morde, etc), and seem to BREAK pets even more than they already are every other patch? (I've heard Morde mains say that Morde is unplayable at this point, with many saying "just remove the AI entirely and let us micro it ourselves FFS")

I like how Riot has effectively killed the support role, and still hasn't even addressed the issue.

@Riot: please do not add "channel blink" as a rune. It will make flash EVEN MORE mandatory.
