I think Zyra had 2% playrate before her changes

Of that 2% i think maybe .5% kept playing her, now she's 4.4% and the majority of those are post-update players.

Point? Old Zyra mains concerns have been drowned out by casuals.. we are no longer heard, and ganged up on in boards.

Feelsbad, all the other mages got proper updates except my main.

My quick opinion? -RNG plant spawning is bad, old passive was good -New Q shape sucks, old Q shape and damage was good -New Plant units are actually an improvement(duration/speed/dmg adjustments feel good), but should only be manually spawn-able

Old passive was good? Did you even PLAY Zyra?

Yes, clearly they play Zyra. The old passive was sub-optimal, but this passive can be way too unreliable, and her self-cast seeds, the ones she actually makes plays with, are suffering with nerfs because of it. The power budget required the removal of cdr and longer spawn and refresh durations, and now she has trouble having enough plants outside lane. In lane, when she's constantly roughly in the same space, the seeds spawn where she can use them. By midgame, when rotations start to happen, she often runs out of w seeds, while e.g. her passive spawned a seed while she was running to the fight and it was wasted.

The fact that her current passive isn't that good (seeds spawn too randomly, really) still doesn't change that her old passive sucked a$$.

The old passive was sub-optimal

I mean, I clearly acknowledged that. But from the standpoint of a Zyra main three seasons running, this new passive is worse for me because it burdens her power budget and puts me in a position where I won't have enough seeds to combo my spells if I am roaming and rotating a lot (which supports should be doing) or if I arrive to a fight that abruptly started. This is unless, of course, I max W second, which makes Zyra fall off hard midgame, right where the meta is currently focused on. Not to mention that it pushes us to itemise for CDR via runes, which takes away from MPen, the best stat for Zyra support.

So, clearly, an argument could be made that the new passive is also causing problems. You don't have to take my scrubby high silver word for it, either. High elo players have mentioned it.
