Why 2 tear items? Only his shield scales with mana. Wouldnt it make more sense to build Rod of ages instead of Muramana?

You're knocking it without trying it! Both tear items increase his AD and AP separately, but scale off of the same thing. You can replace the item 3001 with a item 3027 or item 3165 , but he loves mana to bits.

I managed to fill up 2 1/2 tears on Veigar once. RIP, 400~ damage autos and 1400~ AP. Add a Nashors for fun times.

Im not knocking it without trying it. I tried different Blitz builds. But Muramana is pointless. With that build you would have around 3k mana which would give u 60 AD. Only his E scales with AD. Wasting so much gold so your AD can hit 60 extra damage...

Well, the Muramana's passive procs on his E, too. The Nashor's Tooth and his W make him proc it really, really fast. That's a good 150 damage, there, with all that mana. Also, the Muramana procs off of Blitz's ult passive. It adds some really nice damage to those lightning bolts.

the thing is you get huge scaling on both ad and ap. tho it doesn't make sense to build both ap and ad on a champion that has for the most part just ap scalings.
