Please add Pause to Ranked...

For 5 years I've advocated for this.. Dota has it.. and it works just fine...

• Every player on the team gets 1 Pause.
• That pause can only be a max of 5 minutes.
• Pause can only happen if another pause hasn't happened within the last 5 minutes.
• Pauses can be stopped early by the player who initiated it.

*SIde Note: Also increase punishement for afking in ranked. Like serious bans from the game mode itself. Rather than a ban from the game. You afk twice in 2 days? 3 day ban from ranked. If you do it again after that ban? a week, et. etc. These guys don't need to be banned from the game itself, just a mode where everyone needs to be there to be fair to everyone else.

Every year I get the same responses by trolls and idiots who have zero critical thinking skills or logical input. So I'll try to hack at their usual responses..

"It's abuseable"

Not if you put these limitations. I'd rather have it slightly abuseable, than be down a player because they either loaded in slow, something came up that was unavoidable, or their game crashed. God knows I've had more games than I can count or remember, where we're ahead, or the game is just starting out, only to have a player disconnect. A simple pause could have changed that loss into a win.

"I don't want to wait for someone else"

THen you're not taking ranked seriously enough or respecting anyone else, and you shouldn't be playing it to begin with. Simple as that.

"Riot doesn't care"

They will if enough people advocate for something. They're a company. They can't survive on ignoring everything.
