Maybe its just me, but games that are close are more fun to watch.

Riot keeps going for this rediculous quicker games, high impact, crap where games are "decided" even on the E sports scene in the first 10 minutes 9/10 times....

I for one find that boring... Nor would I pay to watch some match where I know the outcome in the first 5-10 minutes... What GOOD sport in the world takes 30 minutes anyway? I know its just a game, but hear me out...

Why is Basketball, Soccer, Football, and all the other major, minor sports FUN to watch? Because at any point in the game, the other team could come back. Outplays, mistakes, witty moves, and more can change the game as you bounce back and forth between a strong, and weak position.

These games are fun.. Not only fun as hell to PLAY, but also fun as hell to WATCH....

It's not fun to play, or watch a game that's decided so quick... It's boring as hell..

YOu got it all wrong Riot.. The reason why your E sports scene took off and grew so quickly was because the games could go either way at any time.. Notice how your E sports is starting to suffer now that your base game is stagnant, and boring to both play and watch? DOn't you think MAYBE it's because they're related?

Since it's related... i also recommend avoiding "bully streamers/YouTubers (players with high elo accounts that keep making new accounts - basically, bullying and humiliating low elo players - since that's the only way they can achieve OP stats). Stop feeding their low self esteem (also their wallets) - by supporting bullying and humiliation of other players.

It's quite surprising (shocking even) - that people like that have an audience...

An audience that's probably formed of others alike (bullies in real life - or other players that enjoying bullying low elo players - so they do the same).

Are more fun to play as well. I can lose with a smile after 40min of fighting but FF15 type of game where all lanes lost feels like a waste of time (and poor matchmaking... how can ALL lanes of team X lose? That happens too often!)

I used to watch LOL's esports scene religiously. I own 4 dif LCS jerseys, a bunch of C9 and TL shirts and hoodies, along w a bunch of other misc esports swag.

I used to split my view time between LCS and LCK, following the stories and journeys of teams I found compelling, always trying to keep up on everyones trajectories.

This season, I cant say that I've actually sit down to watch a single game from start to finish. I havent even bothered checking things like team standings, playoff results, etc. I dont even know what teams are going to Worlds.

League has managed to shape their game into an experience that is somehow infuriating and boring at the exact same time, which is a pretty remarkable feat, I must admit.

I cant speak for anyone else, but for me personally, if the game is too boring to play, then its definitely too boring to watch.

People complained about slower games in the past now when they made it fast, people are complaining about faster games and want it slowed down.

Both extremes are wrong.

You also can't please everyone, but you can have a good middle ground.

Whats with people always only thinking in extremes...

Because thinking rationally gives advantage to the people thinking in extremes since reasonable people understand making concessions for overall success and extremists get more of what they want.

Well assuming you're saying theres a middle ground can you explain how that middle ground could be reached?

Because so far you've just tossed up idealistic comments with no way of actually creating this middle ground.

What? lol...

I mean this isn't rocket science my dude its pretty basic.

45 minute to 1 hour games are too long...

games decided in 10 minutes is insanely boring...

25-30 minutes that allow for either team to come back wouldn't be bad at all.

How do they do it?

Short term:

Well they are already there mostly... just F off with the overpowered BS in damage, inject steroids into defense, buff the towers across the board, and normalize the damage.

THat would be a good start at least. They had this in the game, and threw it away so they can do it again..

Long Term:

From there F off with the release of new broken champs that do nothing but make a bad situation worse. From there focus on the goals and reasons champs even exist to begin with. Find out where the placement of them needs to be, and normalize a base ground of floor and ceiling power they (each class) should have across the board, and start implementing those changes through nerfs and buffs to all champions.

Balancing League isn't as hard as people like to think it is, not if you use your brain and take it in logical steps. It'll take time sure, but that's absolutely no excuse not to do it.

Riot wasn't afraid to kill their game, I don't know why they are afraid of fixing it.

"just F off with the overpowered BS in damage, inject steroids into defense, buff the towers across the board, and normalize the damage." This is not a solution. what does f off with op bs in dmg mean. What do they change? Whats wrong with tank items? Buff towers how? Their dmg? Their tankiness? Both? Their attackspeed? Normalize the damage is a fairly broad statement explain what you mean by this I'm not a mind reader.

"games decided in 10 minutes is insanely boring..." Games arent decided by 10 mins now. Id argue this is due to player mentality and skill level that games are decided this early.

"From there F off with the release of new broken champs that do nothing but make a bad situation worse." You havent said how theyre broken or how they make the situation worse.

" normalize a base ground of floor and ceiling power they (each class) should have across the board, and start implementing those changes through nerfs and buffs to all champions." This is probably the closest you got to explaining your point and even here you didnt say how you take into account late game champs, early game champs, champion kits, champion cc. Are you saying Lissandra and xerath should do the same amount of dmg? Both under the mage class.

"Balancing League isn't as hard as people like to think it is, not if you use your brain and take it in logical steps. It'll take time sure, but that's absolutely no excuse not to do it." My issue comes in tthat you havent said anything logical besides that one statement everything else has been your opinion. Which not everyone agrees with.

lol...... that's all I'm going to respond with, because it made me lol... If you can't read what I wrote and understand it, than you're either trolling me, or don't have the logic required for an intelligent conversation. Have a nice day.

I mean i even pointed out with questions what you shouldve explained that you did not explain.

And of course because i asked you to support your claims you decided to do what every person on the boards does when they toss up illogical claims, insult the person asking me to support my claims.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem Here you go buddy do some reading here to learn why what you just said doesnt prove anything besides that you're the one being illogical. Have a nice day :)
