I actually prefer lethality marksmen to the standard crit/AS marksmen

It's so much more interesting. I get to actually see the entire kit of an ADC shine. I don't have the same old boring ass generic right-click-to-win build in every game. I.E rush isn't super common anymore, kinda like how bot lane used to bin carries rushing I.E and trades would be won/lost off of who crit first.

I realize lethality is definitely overtuned right now but I'd actually like to see this he a viable option for ADCs to build. The ADC build up until last season was the most stale, generic and boring build for 6 seasons and seeing that be moved away from was refreshing. I realize flat armor pen had to go because of its binary nature (oppressive when ahead, useless when behind) but I hope with lethality and once it's balanced properly, you see this build be balanced for ADCs but still made for AD casters (I.E make it more appealing to true casters).

I agree that its fine on adc's and much more interesting to have that option, (except miss fortune ult). The problem is with the assassins and bruisers (like jayce) who are outputting wayyy too much damage. Hopefully riot can find a way to keep the damage for ad carries, but lessen it on these other champs

Which bruisers? I don't see any bruisers abusing lethality (though I could see a few cases)

Well theirs the obvious jayce, wukong now builds full leatality, quinn technically considered a bruiser but not sure why lol, rengar who is bruiser and assassin, and graves who is busted like jayce atm, But yeah i guess their arent many, other than those 5

I don't really consider Jayce, Rengar or Quinn bruisers.

I would rather want lethality to be more of a gamble than a standard build on adcs Early snowball with great damage in mid game and fall off hard late game so that building lethality would mean you are commited to ending the game pre 30-35 mins Similar to what it is now although surviving the lethality phase should be a little easier

For most ADCs it does fall off because they sacrifice their DPS for it. In exchange their abilities are much stronger though, allowing their full kits to shine.

What if we have a separate, ranged-only stat that accomplishes similar things, but lethality is made melee-only and we can balance around ADCs buying their ranged-arpen, and balance around melees buying their melee-arpen?
