Imagine if the mission was "Win a game as an all-MALE team"
Oof...
Edit: No one actually got it so,imagine the communities reaction if instead of females it was wales, how many people would complain and call it "sexist"

OOOHHH YESSSSS And their band name should be "F.A.B OUTRAGEOUS".
...I swear it would sell.
Aparerentlyl there is a rumor saying RITO is planning a boy band consisting of Jin, Ez, Jayce and Ekko.(regarding the K/DA skins trailer)
Jhin appears to be out of place in here.
4 man boyband without Jhin would be heresy.

Lacks some

the true alpha male
Implying Draven isn't a solo act.
Band name: The Draven Project Drummer: Draven Bassist: Draven Vocalist: Draven Backup vocals: Darius Guitarist: Draven
its almost as if the mission was created because they just released 4 skins that were part of a girl-band skin line. weird, eh?

You're missing the point. If an all-male band was created Kotaku and other fake news sites would be calling Rito sexist. It just goes to show the blatant double standards and anti-male bias of the SJW left
Wait, if the "SJW" complained about a male kpop skinline in your imagination Kotaku and similar would call them sexist.
Just as...you guys are doing pretending that a solo female kpop band is somehow anti-male bias.
Guess who is the real snowflake that gets offended with anything.
You guys complain about the posibility that they would do exactly what you are doing.

No actually i'm not complaining at all about there being an "all female" kpop band. I'm complaining about the double standard. It's not my imagination, it's what happens it's just the reality of the world we live in.
To give you an example that actually happened. https://www.pcgamer.com/riot-regrets-unnecessarily-sexualized-design-of-league-of-legends-champion-kaisa/
Meanwhile the current Varus load screen art. https://i.redd.it/hk2bl23rpjq01.jpg
INB4 you say i'm complaining about the Varus load screen art. I'm not the double standard is what i'm talking about.
I agree with you, but I think there are easily offended snowflakes on both sides, and that's part of the problem. A little bit of understanding goes a long way. There shouldn't be mud flinging in either direction.
It can be in both ways, and both are stupid as fuck.
But on this case is going for the offended males because on a videogame there's a mission to play with only females and somehow that's terrible.
Dunno, as a male myself I dont fucking care about that mission.
I don't care about the missions either. Its not even just "play a female" its specifically the champs who got the new skins. Just a little while ago we had some missions relating to the eSports skins, I think it falls more in that category than a "female champs mission" category.
imagine the communities reaction if instead of females it was wales,
Welsh it guess I guess it's an EUW thing
I count 67 Male champs and 49 Female champs (Including Kindred because you control Lamb more than Wolf.)
Though some instances are iffy. For instance, though the lore refers to Nocturne and Kha'Zix as "it," assuming they don't have gender, their abilities use "he" pronouns in their descriptions.
Nuuuu kindred is a theeeey not a sheeeeeee
checks roster for male characters i can play
old champs i used to play
champs i tried to play and liked but never really learned
champs i wish i could play but absolutely suck at
so that leaves me with
,
whom i haven't played in 3 years
whom i havent played in 2 years
who i liked but never really bothered to get good enough at to play
idk if
and
have "genders"
yeah that would be horrible...
only male champions i play are
and half of kindred lol
only male champions i play are

XD half a
, that was good...
also we know the hec was a male..... but he was fused with his horse during the ruination... what if the horse was female? [sg-lux-2]

oh my goodness....
kha'zix is male, blitz is a robot but voiced by a male actor i believe

yeah i wasn't sure if voidborn had genders, but obviously
is a female, so it makes sense
can be male

i wouldnt say shes obviously female
Probably genders do not even exist in the Void.
We've got the Queen of the Xersai and a void creature Kog'maw refers to a "Daddy". I think that's enough evidence that genders do exist.
Riot is just trying REALLY hard to pander to women...either trying to get them into the game or at least become fans of it. This is just a continuation of that.
Pander? K/DA is an ode to all female K-Pop groups and what they represent for empowerment and Korean culture. There's no pandering there, just appreciation of a style that's become super popular in the last few years. Although K-pop "boyband" groups are out there and very popular, if I'm not mistaken, K-Pop's basic archetype was created by women and is constantly being reinvented by women. Leaving that aspect of K-Pop out of this event would be taking the creators of this Skin-line's inspiration for granted. Next time you're inclined to call something that respects and appreciates women "pandering" think back to all of the skins pandering to men (battle bunny, anyone?).
(battle bunny, anyone
And here I was thinking it was supposed to be in support of rabbits.
very well put. every time riot attempts to reach out and do the bare minimum for their admittedly under-represented female playerbase, all these neckbeards sitting alone in their grandmas basement go up in arms about "reverse-sexism" and "pandering to women."
as if half the female characters in this game weren't created to pander to men... right....

Well the most well known K-POP artist is a male, but i think you're missing the point
Pandering to women = Empowerment Pandering to men = Sexism
I think pandering is not the appropriate word here. These skins appeal to anyone who is a fan of similar K-Pop groups, like G-IDLE, the one who collaborated on the song for K/DA. That includes men AND women, as both demographics can be fans of K-Pop. I think if Riot made a League K-Pop boy band, it wouldn't be sexist, and anyone who says so are idiots. Just like saying a K-Pop girl band is sexist is also idiotic. It goes both ways.
Both are ideas that appeal to a certain "skin fantasy", the same way Star Guardian, for example, appeals to Magical Girl fans (which includes both men and women) or the Mecha skin line appeals to fans of mecha anime (again, men and women).

You just aren't reading what i'm saying at all, so i'm done.
No you said:
Pandering to women = Empowerment Pandering to men = Sexism
I was saying how this isn't really a case of pandering to either men or women. Both men and women are fans of girl band K-pop groups. Therefore the appeal of the K/DA skins encompasses both men and women. They are not pandering to either. I DID read what you said, and I just disagree that its pandering at all.
Well said. OP is a clown for trying to bend a kpop thing to sexism.
I honestly don't think anyone would care
It's TIME TO GET THAT BREAD GIRLS
the start up band:
Strong gal
Snek lady
MS RADICAL
Winnie the Bread
cutie x3
WAAAAH IM A PRIVILEGED MALE COMPLAINING ABOUT SEXISM
Ur right. It's usually privileged, well educated, girls who have never actually experienced sexism who whine bitch and moan about sexism.

Swain has no moustache. Get someone else (

Ah, but what about an all-male team...with facial hair?
its a pretty dumb mission but who really cares
We're just picking fictional characters, I don't think this counts as discrimination against a sex since either sex can do the mission. It makes sense in the wake of an all female pop group line, too. This is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for things to be mad about.
The mission would be a hell of a lot easier if it was the other way around tbh
Kind of says something
