Honestly I am just wondering the same thing, I get that people care for this game but there are some things that people just need to let go of.

The only way to fix this game's state is sadly out of our hands, and the company behind the creation of this game along with the employees who are responsible for the balance changes and so on, are all very ignorant. But Riot is more focused on trying to compete with other fast paced games which is causing the game to alienate itself into something that no longer, and doesn't resemble the real League. In a few years or even sooner we won't recognise this game anymore due to the amount of changes that this game has faced, but who knows anymore.

They are really all about making as much money as possible at this point through skins and so on. If anything I feel sorry for those talented workers (Art/Sound/Lore teams) who have to work and be part of organization with such a bad reputation (Sexism Drama, PAX Drama, etc...).

This is how I've looked at all the changes with the game. League of Legends has to compete with the likes of Fortnite, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch, and et al. for screentime on our machines. Those other games can get wrapped up within 15min, and if PUBG has showed us anything, nobody wants to be stuck in a losing situation for over half an hour with no payoff, which is why they've been speeding it up, making buffs meaningful to fights, squishing turrets to fall over faster, etc.

I don't get this sense of entitlement most of the playerbase has where they think what they say should be implemented immediately without understanding that ISN'T how QA for what is effectively a PBE/live patch is :S

This is dumb. Who says League has to compete with those games? League is already bigger than those games (except maybe fortnite) they don’t need to become like them and “compete with them” .. that makes literally no sense. League is nothing like those games. It shouldn’t be trying to compete for the playerbase of those games. It’d be like Overwatch or fornite saying “let’s make our games 40+ mins long to compete for the playerbase of a moba that has nothing to do with our game’s genre”

ahri used to play like an assassin mage and her mobility was tolerable because if she used it for her engage, she then unlikely had it for disengage

now she gets movement speed boosts just for using her Q, is a kite mage, and they keep changing her kit at random times

at least, that would be my interpretation of their reasoning for "broke"

I'm boycotting too, i'm done with riot and its balance. They nerfed my favorite main and i couldn't sustain or even get to late game when i played top. Oh, they also nerfed one of my mains most used items. mother f#%@ing riot.

Back in season 7 didn't they say their goal was to be more transparent? Weren't they supposed to communicate more with us? What the actual fuck is this game's state right now? There is literally no communication whatsoever. All they have to do is let us know they understand that the game is anti fun, but are working on it. This game has a million bugs, but when you go to report a bug there is no responses from Riot at all apart from shitty ARAM issues. Literally only gave 2 responses from Riot employees in over 2 weeks. This company keeps getting more and more disappointing.

The only thing i'm sure about, is The bad escalation that is changing players and companies relationships. i don't want to generalize, But lately companies are caring less And less about feedback and community, in exchange of greed, predator strategies and infinite tries to allure new players At the cost of destroying the game's identity...am i too pessimist? :(

I don't know if they aren't listening/caring, or they just lack of skills and competence.

Anyway, complaining isn't enough to change something, that's right. You should also:

play less, or not play at all;
suggest your friends other games;
not buy skins/RP of course.

But complaining IS important, because other people can see that they are not the only ones thinking this game is in an awful state (and not by now).

People don't complain on these boards they attack people and enforce there own opinion. You dig into threads and there are plenty of people like myself who like the state of the game and are enjoying presseason.

If we changed the attitude and accepted all voews this community would be so much better heck maybe even get red posts to come back

No people do complain here. And the irony in your statement is to much. There are also of people on here that post valid complaints, and saying all they do is attack people is in itself an attack on them.

that was a bit of a typo as I was quoting you. I still enjoy the game, but what I enjoy is nostalgia, discussing it and the possibility of beating the opponent

the game itself is much harder to enjoy now when even a support that isn't specialized for damage can kill you if you make a mistake or junglers or mid-laners that can engage you at any time

you used to have to whittle the opponent down in lane and then finish them off in a burst. Now it's get chunked and y ou have to play super defensive because you will die if your jungler isn't around to defend

in addition to that, there are lots of Random Number Generated events in the game, such as getting a free 100 gold from kleptomancy. 100 gold is over a whole wave of minions...and you get 1/3 of that for every other item

League is becoming a very old came now almost 9 and has seen many changes through its history .

Can you prove that? Complaing a about a game doesn't mean you don't like it, pretty much all my friends don't go on the boards but a lot of them complain about the game when I play with them

The only way they are REALLY gonna listen is if we stop playing the game and the numbers drop drastically ... but the problem is they made this really addicting game that lots of people have been playing for years. So alot of people who wanna stop actually have a VERY hard time stopping even though they really hate the state of the game, thus Riot doesnt care cuz we are still playing it regardless of what they do.

So if we want to be heard like For real ... we would have to do a LoL Black out day and even then i feel if it was only like a day or 2 and one sever they still wouldnt care. because everyone still plays it or would go back to it anyways regardless of the outcome.

Basically ... they made a game that was fun got us addicted and changed the rules but now we trapped, WP Riot WP

Don't you see that, board has become wars between player and player. Who made that happened? It's Riot. Player that defends Riot vs player that dislike Riot's gameplay balancing style, yet Riot allow this happen without providing explanation and advice. They just watch them fighting and completely careless about playerbase that living at Board. I used to defends Riot until recent behavior on how they started to allow some unreasonable patches goes through. Now I don't hate them anymore, I just quit the game and feels relieved.
